Doctor Who Series Seven |OT| The Question You've Been Running From All Your Life

The whole "Bad Wolf" stuff is stupid simply because its an arbitrary name just hidden as Easter eggs. It means absolutely nothing other than the fact that the same name was hidden everywhere. Torchwood and Saxon worked better because they at least represented something. Don't get me started on the whole bees thing.

For me the most disappointing thing about this 7b season is that it takes SO LONG to see the next season. We'll get the one off Anniversary special and Christmas special, but with how the BBC has new treating this show, who knows how long it be before we are another (half) season.

Rose didn't know that Bad Wolf was a message left for herself when she looked into the heart of the TARDIS. She only found that out afterwards. But she knew that seeing Bad Wolf spread out across of all of time and space meant that there was still a way for her to interact with the future, so she opened the heart of the TARDIS because she had already seen the power that had in the previous story.

As far as I can recall, there was nothing about Bad Wolf Bay having anything to do with that message. It was just an amusing coincidence that they wound up meeting again on a beach in Norway that happened to translate to Bad Wolf.

Sorry, it's the Turn Left appearance I was thinking of re. the latter paragraph.

But nothing you're saying here makes it any more of a 'satisfying conclusion' or even more logical. Whatever exactly it was about bad wolf that inspired her to do something in the end, it only happened because she did it in the first place. It's the weakest possible form of linking a story together.

I've only noticed a few mentions of folk receiving it early, not sure that the speculated thousands elsewhere is entirely accurate. If so, it'll likely be around before the end of week but I'm not convinced there are a lot of copies out so far.

I saw a post that it was out online... followed by a correction, because the file in question turned out to be Nightmare in Silver, marked as Episode 13 to account for The Snowmen in the numbering scheme.

Incidentally, it annoys the hell out of me that Snowmen isn't actually considered to be episode 6.

People have their hands on it now, which means it'll more than likely be leaked everywhere tonight. Spoilers are abound on Twitter.

I can't believe that the BluRay of all things would leak this early. Just holy shit.

They are using Norton for this...

The next episode of Norton, they ran a version of that ident where a Dalek rolled on screen and exterminated him. Good they have a sense of humuor about the whole thing.

The ending of The Time of Angels is some fucking golden shit. Moffat's part 1 cliffhangers tend to a bit... iffy (DONNA NOBLE HAS BEEN SAVED/ARE YOU MY MUMMY) but that was a fantastic way to end that episode. What a speech! The globe exploding was great too.

Steven Moffat has promised if fans help keep the finale’s secrets, we’ll release a special video featuring Matt & David right after the ep!

Probably were going to do it anyway....

I hope that 11 has a good regeneration. Ten's victory lap was lame as hell but even after all that the 'I don't want to go!' left a lump in my throat.

And I hope that when it comes it's something small scale that kills him too, no saving the whole universe or whatever, just saving a companion is enough. 5's regeneration is awesome for that reason.

The best companion we never had, Sheridan Smith (8th Doctor's audio companion), just won a BAFTA. She's so lovely. Character she plays in the audios is really amazing, and is the first post-Rose audio companion they did - so the first in the new Who mould.
