I got one of these for Christmas and I'm currently debating whether or not to keep it or return it.

On one hand, I like pizza a good deal. On the other, it seems like a bit of a hassle to be making my own and this is just another one-purpose gadget that will clutter up my already-cluttered apartment.

If you got one and are enjoying it, what's the best crust and sauce to use? D'you think it's worth the money?

Keep it. You can also cook frozen Pizza's on it. Totino's party pizzas, despite being cheap as hell are really good. Tombstone rising crust pizzas are also pretty good. This thing cooks them all alot better.

Well, I tend to hate nearly all frozen pizza....particularly the more expensive brands. It seems like the more you pay, the nastier the pizza sauce and the more likely that the cheese will burn over.

Celeste and Totino's are good for when you get home after a night of drinking and just want something warm and tasty....but it seems a bit much to keep an appliance around just for the sake of the occaisional personal pizza. Is it really that much better than an oven? I'm a sucker for a crispy crust...

Unless someone can confirm that it's possible to make really tasty homemade pizza, I'm leaning towards just returning this thing. It retails for something like $75-100 and I could probably buy something more useful.

Haven't they started making George Foreman grills with detachable heating plates for easier cleaning?

Keep this one... it's one of the few kitchen gadgets that I use on a regular basis. We never "make" pizza with it, but it performs miracles with frozen crust pizzas. They will taste 10 X better than anything you cook in the oven.

Yup...every time I cooked pizza in the oven it'd come out soggy because I can't time the warm-up period on the oven for shit, but with this thing it's like having a fresh Papa John's no matter how cheap shit the pizza is
