Does Nintendo break down profits by territory

What I mean is does Nintendo have a report where they break down what percentage each territory contributes to their profits?

As I would like to see just how much Japan really accounts for.

All they have is "domestic" and "foreign" which is done in both software and hardware categories. You can probably draw your own conclusions from that.

They actually break it down into 'domestic' (Japan), 'the Americas' (US/Canada)and 'other' (Europe, Australia, Asia) now. Here's the results from 2nd quarter 2005 for new releases...

GameBoy Advance New Titles
-Domestic: 370,000 (5,660,000 ltd)
-The Americas: 520,000 (5,670,000 ltd)
-Other: 170,000 (5,070,000 ltd)

GameCube Software New Titles
-Domestic: 40,000 (1,920,000 ltd)
-The Americas: 160,000 (3,420,000 ltd)
-Other: 120,000 (2,890,000 ltd)

....these numbers exclude Pokemon games for Japan though (which fall under The Pokemon Company).
