I hope it is not a spam according to Your definition. Game is totally free and not commercial. I am not gaining any money from it in any way. Not even ads, patronite, nothing. There is no paid premium content, nothing. I am just newbie creator who wants to share his work and get some feedback.

"Dominion of Darkness" is a free strategy text game in which the player takes on the role of a Sauron-style Lord of Darkness with the goal of conquering the world. He will carry out his plans by making various decisions. He will build his army and send it into battles, weave intrigues and deceptions, create secret spy networks and sectarian cults, recruit agents and commanders, corrupt representatives of Free Peoples and sow discord among them, collect magical artifacts and perform sinister plots. Note – one game takes about 1 hour, but the premise is that the game can be approached several times, each time making different decisions, getting different results and discovering something new. Feedback is very much welcome. Very, very much.

Here is the game: https://adeptus7.itch.io/dominion

If you are hesitant to play the game, I invite you to watch/listen to the reviews:

Soooo... If You are ignoring it just because You are not interested/think it is shit, than OK. But if this case of some irrational fear that I am a bot and this is a scame, than I swear, it is not like that. If 4 reviews don't convince You that game actually exists, You can ask me anythi... wait.... You can ask me any question.

A text adventure game, eh. I wish you the best of luck. Visuals are very important for me, even for narrative heavy games. The UI could be more polished and better matched to the theme of the story.

Edit: Forgot to add that my impressions are just from watching one of the gameplay videos on you webpage, so keep that in mind in case I got some things wrong.

For what it is, a strategic-random-event-choose your own adventure, type of game wrapped in a decent story/setting, I think you'd did a fine job.

What would have elevated it would've been choices/events that let the player throw dice based on stats/army/influence, it would let us feel more attached to the outcome. And some visual representation next to the different stats next to the numbers would be fun.

But I got the feeling you're quite constrained by the engine you've chosen. Maybe next time. I mean, just a rudimental visual representation of your main character that you could move around and interact with advisors, army training, strategic table, etc and watching some stick figures clashing against each other during battles would elevate the experience.

But all that matters is that you're having fun with it and keep on developing your skills. 1 step at the time my man. 😀

Was this developed with Inform? I know that a lot of the OG devs of the 80s text adventures are still making text adventures in their spare time/as a hobby using Inform.

Don't worry, your English made it pretty clear you're not a bot. Unless bots have been upgraded to use crack English on purpose to throw off people and escape the eyes of judgement. You never know!

Thanks! Yes, I learnt a bit during making this game and although I am still improving it, I hope that one day I will be able to another, better one.

Well, You are right. I still don;t understad why it makes difference for the people, but apparently it does.

It was developed using Twine.

It looks like a ripoff of the Lone Wolf gamebooks
Well, You see - Lone Wolf is just part of the big genre called "Chose Your Own Adventure", "interactive fiction", or, well "gamebooks". So yes, my game has some similarities, becaue it was inspired by this genre.
