Or just try the game and judge it yourself. It'd be impressive if it was someone like Edge or similar reviewing this but IGN.
We celebrate this guy awards…It'd be impressive if it was someone like Edge or similar reviewing this but IGN.
We will be getting it. But I just don't think using IGN as a barometer of quality reviewing is something to boast or laud aboutOr just try the game and judge it yourself.
1. Donkey Kong 64
2. Donkey Kong Country 2
Just 4 hours played… This is the best DK game period, and probably better than Odyssey… So addictive and fun.So where are we at?
1. Donkey Kong 64
2. Donkey Kong Country 2
3. Donkey Kong bananza?
For me I don't care for reviews or other people's opinion…..the direct was more enough to sell me on the game.We will be getting it. But I just don't think using IGN as a barometer of quality reviewing is something to boast or laud about
Edge? Haha! If IGN is bad, Edge is much worse and egoistic, and not credible anymore. It'd be impressive if it was someone like Edge or similar reviewing this but IGN.
Reviews are just good for console wars, nothing more.Edge? Haha! If IGN is bad, Edge is much worse and egoistic, and not credible anymore.

Same. I'm always surprised how bad many people are at looking at game footage. A lot of people were surprised at the 2nd trailer, and surprised again at the reviews. Weird.knew this would be a banger from the first trailer
True. Metacritic can be a guide, but 90% is all about your own decision. The best reviewer is our own instinct and discernment. I have allot of games since NES era up to PS era, that I enjoyed allot even if it was not critically well received.Reviews are just good for console wars, nothing more.
I don't get it. He drools over every trivial mechanic, like "WOWW there is a CRATER if you fall from the height!!1".

I'm on layer 500-600 (Jungle level) and it's a solid 8. Very good ideas, but it gets repetitive, and the environment art style is absolutely not on the level of Rare. It's even ugly sometimes with a clash of colours (all that violet and rose…) that are too flashy. The 2D levels are way better and pleasing on the eyes.Or just try the game and judge it yourself.
I kinda agree. I'm enjoying it, but I feel like it's too open worldish, or maybe I wanna find everything so I'm all over the place. (I 100% both the first two real layers, and now on the facility one).I'm on layer 500-600 (Jungle level) and it's a solid 8. I highly disagree here, I fucking LOVE the artstyle here, I like like waaay more than Odyssey, especially character model and animation...also for me the gameplay loop is addicting as fuck, it type of game I need force myself to stop. The art style is really terrible which I saw from the trailers, it's really not as good as Mario. Odyssey is still on a higher level.
This exactly how I feel just watching it. I'll start playing tomorrow and this is what I expect. I really wish that they would go back to the Mario 64/Galaxy approach of event based collectables.I'm on layer 500-600 (Jungle level) and it's a solid 8. After playing it I can tell you this isn't better than Odyssey. I don't see myself returning to this game once finished. But Odyssey I fire up here and there regularly. Also Odyssey is far better polished product.Just 4 hours played… This is the best DK game period, and probably better than Odyssey… So addictive and fun.
Not having dk2 winning by a landslide is a cardinal sin.So where are we at?
