You have to make a shortcut on your desktop linking to the 64 bit client

You have to make a shortcut on your desktop linking to the 64 bit client

I have had issues doing this via a desktop shortcut.

The best way to do the above is to go into Steam client, go into your Library, then click on Add Game -> Add a non-Steam game. click Browse and navigate to the 64 bit client. Click OK then in your library add the -DX11 switch at the end of the command line.
