Sometimes I wonder when we see blow-ups such as these...how do the mouz players feel?

I mean, when any tier 2 team end up going up against Na'Vi (or [A], or any tier 1 atm), even before the game starts, do they "know" that they are most likely going to lose? Do they care?

OFC, upsets still happens like the other day with EG and Na'Vi. But still...

Ever since elder titan was introduced, i've been crashing non stop every 3 or 4 games, is it about my pc or about the game?

I imagine dota players need to have a short memory for losses.

Who beats Lion mid? Especially if it's randomed and starts with a bottle? Just got wrecked by one. He had pretty much infinite stun harass early to push me off the lane and just stun -> fingered -> dead once he got his 6 earlier. More things were against us in the game than that, but my horrible start (and entire game) was a huge liability.

Underdog teams know they're underdogs. They go in knowing anyone can beat anyone else if the planets just align for you and crash into each other for them, but chances are they're going to lose.

It's an educational experience, even if you get stomped. Teams play at the top of their game in tournaments, and the atmosphere in competitive games is so different from scrims. You get an entirely different set of skills and experience from playing in official matches that you wouldn't get it all you did was scrim.

If they're professionals, or if they see themselves as such, they don't care. They shouldn't really. It's just part of life - there's always someone out there better than you, and you should always make it your goal to constantly improve. You can't improve unless you go up against those people, so you just have to accept that you'll lose a lot.

This is the problem with losers brackets and 5 game series over best of 3. It completely eliminates the chances for a Cinderella team to go on a hot streak and win it all. Outside of the chance for lower tier teams to have a chance, I just dont have as much respect for any competition that uses either losers bracket or best of 5's. It just makes those competitions seem weak to me. You advance by winning, not losing. And if you're a winner you can win in 3 games.

Black with 744 GPM that game, having absolute free-farm bottom. Really conflicted on that question for the compendium. Vs. a lesser team than Na`Vi? 800 GPM sure. But would other teams let him have a lane to himself like that? And were it AM or Alchemist instead of Gyro, probably 800 GPM as well.

Really tough call.

Today I entered the weird alternate reality where Phantom Assasin decided to go mid because "there's no way in hell I'm letting Shadow Shaman mid"

And both Chen and PA were crying because we had "three supports" and "we needed more carries"

Shadow Shaman is a good mid, good roaming ganker and when he hits 6 he can push down the lane.

Yeah, well, we had thirty seconds left, so I couldn't explain that...ended up going solo top against a Bounty Hunter and a Windrunner, pressure was on me so I had trouble farming and then PA started dying to Doom over and over...meh

So I played an All Random match with some GAF members, and got Razor, who I have never played before. I haven't even watched any gameplay vids or read any guides because he just isn't an interesting hero to me, so I had absolutely no idea what to build on him. I kinda did a pseudo-support build because horsecock and 1.09 were carrying us anyway, but yeah — how do you guys build Razor?

So every public match since ever?
I went against a team who had 4 hard carries, and one of my team members said, "They have too many carries we're gonna lose." As if he's never seen a match finished before the 30 minute mark.

We lost.

first solo q mm game batrider lasso's a spiderite, pl with 35 min half diffusal criticizes necrolyte for bad farm.

I think solo queue will suffer the same fate any mode besides AP, which is that there isn't enough people queueing and matches have huge skill gaps :/.

They haven't announced a co-caster for Tobi at TI3 yet right? I really hope it's Clairvoyance. I really enjoy his color commentary, and he's always enthusiastic about the game in general. Manages to be funny without sounding like a tryhard.

KP with the annoying Team Global.

A lot of people tend to go tanky on him. I think its a waste.

In the late game, your link ability will steal all the damage off their carry rather quickly and give it to you, might as well use it.

Get yourself a desolator, and a lot of attack speed. This will stack both your damage, along with his fed carry damage, plus a great attack speed. The harder their carry snowballs, the harder his whole team will die, provided you can steal said damage.

Stack with a troll warlord ult and roflstomp.

I'm having a feeling that they are waiting to see if mouz qualify or not...if not, hello Synderen.
