I don't see how anything he said is right aside from scrims are meaningless in determining teams. Everything else he's said just comes off as him being overly antagonistic and playing devil's advocate to standout from all the pro players.
It's funny to see the iCCup hate, when they are probably the most fun teams to watch, same as DTS2011 was (which had funn1k).
That switching to players who have been proven to be good on lan deserves it more than random inhouse heroes is what I'm referring to.

Oh man the Elder Titan sleep is such bullshit. Amazing setup for so many things. Shackles, Skywrath ultis, etc.
Still beat a team that had him, Magnus, and Sven though. Did dunk on us a few times, but TA was a good pick. Ended up going vs. Windrunner mid which was unexpected - was hoping to dominate the Mag or ET, but whatever. Faceless Void on our team was a good counter.

Just random'd Visage a bit ago, thought I was going to do horrible then...
Must've been some bad people we were up against.
I love me some Visage. Played him twice over the last week. Did pretty well both times. We won the first game, and lost the second only because our KotL abandoned shortly after the 10 minute mark. We held out for over an hour 4v5. We had a Warlock and a really farmed Luna (M0B). We were against a team that involved a not as farmed (but still pretty farmed) Alchemist, Profit, and Nyx. For only being 4v5, we held out really well.
I was picking people off with the familiars, setting up ganks with them, timing the stuns after a Warlock ult to ensure teamfights.
Visage is so underrated. Good starting point to learn to micro too, since the familiars fly over things.

I took another look at the Elder Titan artwork and the concept arts we have seen so far.
That big thing on the left on the background I think is Abyssal Underlord.
Abyssal Underlord does have the appearnce of being pretty huge, but more importantly, that thing on his back. I think that's his weapon. See the concept in the lower right of this picture? The weapon looks awfully similar to what's on his back in the ET artwork.
I looked at Abaddon, and while Abaddon has a horn as well, his appearance is smaller, and it doesn't look like anything is riding on it's back.
Now begs the question, who is that standing in front of the big (possibly Abyssal Underlord) thing? I think it's just part of Legion Commander's legion.
The telling thing here is the helmet design. That figure in front of the big one appears to have a similar helmet. as the one Legion Commander has on both in the game's files, the concept art, and what we see in the Elder Titan artwork.

By the way, does anyone know if the Elder Titan spirit gets true sight if you have a gem? Would be kinda OP since it's invulnerable and you can scout around with it. Could definitely see this hero being very scary in competitive, especially for breaking bases/standstills.

Dont think so. Since his whole lore is about Titans shaping the universe. At most its probably a reference similar to "God's will", in that he is referring to whatever created the universe in the first place.

Ahh, new thread! I don't post enough to be on the wall of shame, but I follow this thread a lot.
I feel bad for EE too. Created NTH and then gets kicked from it and doesn't even get a chance at redemption through qualifiers? That's tough. I'm not even that psyched for the qualifier teams to be honest. EG or Empire for West qualifier and Vici Gaming or Mineski (
) for East. Although I haven't seen the results of Mineski, I'm assuming they won't be as strong as the Chinese teams. But for the most part, the teams I'm most excited to watch have already been invited.
