I thought it said the 13th? Sunday is a strange day for a crate to expire, because it requires a trivial amount of work for Valve to do to remove it, so someone will have to work for 15 minutes on Sunday.

Even if it expires the 15th, they'll still probably fill the new crate soon.

Yea, someone is required to be there to remove it from the drop system, remove it from the schema and convert all the summer keys into... uhhh... something else?

What's going to happen to those keys? It used to be old event keys could open "normal" crates, but we haven't had a normal crate in like half a year, and it's a rare drop with fairly uninteresting items in it. It'd also kind of be weird payment wise, since the contributors are paid by key sales and not crates opened. I never really got how they handled this, unless they just mark the opened "normal" crates with summer keys as a minor loss to them

Simple solution, do it on Monday!


Also, we should hopefully get some items next week, since the Results of the Nexon Contest are to be announced on the 17th:

I don't see why it couldn't be automated but whatever. I think the TI3 chest expired on a Sunday as well and it ran late with chests being around and keys still purchaseable for a bit.

TI3 ended on a Sunday, didn't the chest expire that Tuesday?

I wonder which set will win, it's so hard to choose between this and a mediocre CM set. The suspense is killing me

Was there really only one courier submitted?

Event Keys will look the same, but function as normal keys.

There is likely more, but we sadly can't search Nexon in Korean because the Steam Search Requires 3 characters, and Nexon is writen with just two as 넥슨

The tag system is just busted it seems. Items are clearly tagged as being part of the Nexon Contest, but hitting the option doesn't show anything.

Them becoming normal keys isn't odd IMO, its a pretty good system. The odd thing is Valve not releasing any new normal chests. You can still get them off the market though.

Hurry up with that new Strange System Valve!

When Chloe and her friends moved over to DotA2 she was happy to play support and continued on her goal to becoming a better player. Does anyone have any tips for item builds on Lone Druid. Since the armlet nerf I'm not really sure what to go for on him. Radiance is only good if I'm getting a lot of money early, but if I'm not I'm pretty lost on what an effective item build would be.

Midas radiance is awesome if you can get it. Otherwise, phase boots -> maelstrom -> AC is still good. You just can't push as well as a radiance build.

Honestly I've only just started playing him regularly so it might take a while for me to figure out good counters. I think Clockwerk is a safe bet though.
