Because he really wasn't particularly good at anything? I mean he could push decently, but many could do that better. Aura is cool, but Troll existed, and then his ultimate, which Morphling can do on a much shorter CD, minus the going through BKB.

Great laner with his boar, very good map control with hawk, good gank with roar, good push. He was already picked, no need for a buff.

I'm sure IF will nerf some stuff very soon if certain heroes seem to be unbalanced, not very concerned.
