I doubt Bardock will be in the base roster, and future gohan isn't really the same as Ultimate Gohan. And regardless, I said most, not that they don't feature any

Yeah it is, but its almost impossible to make hair on model in 3D. I removed all the lighting on his hair and it looks better:
He also has too many hair spikes on the left.

And his face is horribly flat.
Base Goku (and dare I say SSJ Goku) is the weakest model in the game shown so far.
Gohan and Frieza are beyond perfect.
Not really.
They aren't quite there yet, but it still looks a lot better (and closer to the source material) than any previous DB games so we should just take it.

I was joking, the game looks absolutely phenomenal. Possibly top 3 in regards to best-looking fighting games EVER.
Bardock is crazy popular and one of the characters Bandai pushes the hardest.
It's very likely we will see Bardock and Broly as part of the Base Roster.

Nothing. I'm doing a design major at University a part of a Comp Sci course and it interests me how Goku's hair doesn't work correctly ever in a 3D environment, and wonder if there is a way to make it look accurate. I'm not shitting on the game or its art style, what they are doing is amazing, Goku's hair just sucks for 3D. I assume these models are not finished and are still going to get more passes on the shaders in the animations.

Why is it a bad thing that some of us aren't fans of how Goku's hair is modeled? That doesn't mean we think the game is shit. We can be excited for the game and love how it looks but still have issues with it.
I am beyond hyped for this game, but I don't like how Goku's base hair looks.

I chose a side picture like the one you posted from Goku, characters look worse from that angle. Yes, Freeza looks better than Goku, but the rest still applies.

4th form Freeza is absolutely perfect.
His Golden form should be a tiny bit beefier and the contrast between the two golds should be a bit bigger. Still a great job though, better than Base Goku's hair.

The one recent game where Tenshinhan wasn't playable was ArkSys' own Extreme Butouden though, which is what makes me fear for his chances.

pacing may be too fast for me, my terrible skill for 1v1 fighting games and lack of content worry me.
I loved budokai 3 but it was nowhere near this pace dear lord......like I was easily able to Z difficulty play on Budokai 3 but it was a mixture of a fighting game an Tenkaichi. It also had a shit load of content to explore and do. This being made by the blaz blue folks means it won't probably have a ton of singleplayer content outside of the story we don't already know.
Positive news it, Xenoverse 2 is hugely popular and I can still play that style while folks who love the more serious competitive fighting style get this as well.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: as far as Super goes, I hope they spend more time borrowing the new moves and the growth in power of some of the old Z Fighters, rather than include Super characters like Hit. Like, Roshi is actually badass again. Krillin is actually cool. If ASW goes out of their way to revamp these guys who were left behind in Z like that, well, I'd cry happy tears. Maybe it's just me, but I'd play with a badass Krillin a lot more than I would with Hit in this game (but also, sure, include Hit, too, his timeskip-based abilities would be bonkers in this).
