How was the new One Piece opening? As long as the last one? Please say yes!

The new One Piece opening hasn't aired yet. OP comes on after DBZ so we still have 7-ish minutes to wait

Yeah I think the abridge series may have ruined Dragonball for me :lol

Wow, Keyhole does not do Opening and Endings well.

Edit- Its bullshit that the One Piece opening is working perfectly for me. I haven't seen an episode of this show. Eh, I guess I'll watch this for the hell of it.
 
Seemed solid, even though there wasn't much to it. Wasn't expecting that recap at the beginning.

I think I'll wait for when Funi dubs this to watch the whole thing, though. Goku's Japanese voice is really annoying.

Yeah, its basically what I expected. I'm mostly using this as an excuse to watch DBZ again, hopefully without it taking as much time. Like the background music and the ED, but I think the OP will have to grow on me.

From now on, I'm waiting for subs, I don't know a lick of Japanese so there's really no point to watching it live after this.

I think a lot of people left afterward. I watched the opening but know absolutely nothing about the show so I closed it out.
 
I loved it. The new OP was gorgeous, and I surprisingly liked Dragon Soul a lot. The ED was great, but I gotta watch it a few more times to get a better feel for Yeah! Break! Care Break! Thought the eyecatchers were pretty cool too. The re-recoding dialog was sweet, and I'm glad I wasn't instantly repulsed by Kame-sennin (didn't think I'd like his new voice). But what I really liked was the new BGM; Radditz's theme was awesome and I love the next episode preview tune a lot.

Can't wait to see it subbed, to get a better understanding, and see what the changes (if any) were.

My exact thoughts. Then again, it's anime, so the remade version would only have good art for the first and last episodes.

Maybe they don't want to spend that much money to re animate it.

I love the opening! too bad the actually show won't look that good, but I do find charm in the early style of Dragonball up until the Android saga when Toriyama stopped using cross-hatching.

Personally, I don't like that new animation all that much, it seems kind of fake.

If they were going to re-animate the show, I'd want them to use the animation from the Buu saga.

wat? The kid buu fight had the best animation of the entire series (barring maybe a couple episodes, where they switched to the shitty animation team; seems like they alternated between the good team and the shitty team every other episode during the buu saga).
