As i never knew Bulma was supposed to have purple hair like on the manga until the Dragon Ball Special, i thought he had purple hair because of Vegeta.

Her hair color changed between BoG and F and Future Bulma and Future Trunks have the same hair color as her now.

I thought the disease cure was just something they had a cure for in the future, rather than bulma creating it?

The wiki says bulma did, but it's source is only a single videogame rather than the manga or even the anime, so I'm not sure it's correct.

Trunks was apparently 17 when he visited Earth in the main timeline and killed Frieza.

It's been almost 17 years since that point.

3 years to Android Saga
7 years later Buu Saga
5 years later BoG
~2 years later is where the current story lies.

Bulma could have made time travel right now if she had needed to do so!

And if Trunks was 17 when killing Frieza, he must be ~35 now, right? (+1 for the Room of Spirit and Time)
