You can cancel into supers even when you whiff, with a super lenient timing.

This can lead so many mind games because they have to second guess if they punish or not. Damn.

Yep, sometimes you think it is your turn. Nope. That's why I played patiently during this beta.

FighterZ borrows movesets from the anime and manga. Kale hasn't done anything so far other than her Ki blast that destroyed the stage that would even warrant her a spot on the roster of an Atari 2600 fighting game.

I honestly think she would offer more than the source of her creation (I honestly think it's hilarious that a being of pure power comes from a girl who's a very shy and timid individual). Besides, there are a host of characters from Super that I want in DBFZ, and Kale would be a fine addition to the roster.

And it's not to say she hasn't had any badass moments. Kale was able to withstand a point blank Kamehameha from Goku (in his Super Saiyan Blue state, of all things) and walk right through it. She then proceeded to batter Goku around, which was fun to watch.

I must be incredibly slow, but it only clicked into me that Frost's name is a goddamn pun.

Fuck.

I'm guessing you mean you didn't think about how it was "connected" to Frieza's name in the sense that they are both about cold things. Not that you didn't realize that the name Frost by itself was referring to ice crystals.

Yup we never saw his full power and Goku wasn't sure he could beat Toppo

He's still Jobbing likely

That isn't what Goku said. He said he wasn't sure if Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan could beat Toppo and he was saying this to Vegeta to hype him for the tournament. Not that he wasn't sure that he couldn't beat him.

God damn Roshi was a boss in general this arc. And Beerus acknowledged him again xD But more importantly, I thought it was lovely that Beerus was pretty much the first GoD to praise his defeated teamates for their efforts.

Roshi did more than Krillin and Tien put together this arc (well, during the actual tournament at least) :P Still their Master I guess hehe

Looking at Roshi doing so well, it just dawned on me - since gathering the Dragon Balls isn't a difficult thing for them at all, couldn't they just wish for Roshi to get young again? Cause damn, imagine him at his prime with all the experience he's got. If they did this before the tournament, he'd probably be OP though.

If you think about the dragon balls too much the whole show is ruined

I can see Frieza disrupting the tournament if he gets eliminated. There would be no way he goes out and just sits there next to everyone in the stands.

Maybe you are right
maybe he goes out and Beerus is furious cause of the betrayal and all, and he wants to Hakai him, yet we know Frieza can get out of being "Hakai"ed and he expands the Hakai on the void, and then people realize that they werent really destroyed, but put into another dimension (all of them) and then they have to fight former villains of other universes (like the ones Zeno destroyed))

Could it be that this is his plan? Thats why he fights Gohan? To lure Beerus into trying to Hakai him, yet using it against them? The preview said, something terrible is about to happen. Zeno and the Grand Priest will probably be fine, maybe Gods and Angels too, but mortals, could be transferred

But 17 has cool new moves to justify his inclusion as a DLC character. Tien just reused some old hat & only took out the guy who also took him out.

17 evolved. Tien just stayed losing. Hell, we might even get Kakunsa so she can have a rematch. I'm already forgetting "the sniper."

I hope Cell yells "Say goodbye" in that same cheesy tone he did when Kamehameha'ing Gohan.
Tien is a classic character that everyone knows. You really don't need 17 and 18 in the game tbh and 18 is way more popular so it made sense yo choose her over 17. Characters that should be in the game that aren't are: Mr Satan, Master Roshi, Beerus. Characters that I want to see: Bulma, Emperer Piaf (joke character that won't happen), Chi Chi, Launch, etc.

He'd probably say he enjoys his current form, or some other excuse to maintain the status quo.

Before it became a generic energy based nuke, Vegeta's experience of the more electric "evil energy" attacking Spirit Bomb probably eclipsed the mountain dew wave:

I think Frost is way more interesting than Freeza. Even though I still wish he was actually good. Him being a different sort of evil is a nice twist on Freeza, but... I'm still a bit burned by the reveal that he isn't a benevolent inverse version of the evil emperor we know and love to hate. Oh well, he's still one of the best new characters Super has introduced, along with Hit.

Nah. He probably would brag about how he managed to perfect ssb kaioken before he jobbed to jiren. Then Goku shows his new form.

While it was a cool power up sequence (perhaps the only one in Super thus far other than Rage Trunks), Kaio-ken existing at the same time as Super Saiyan forms makes no sense considering it is a "harness your ki to multiply your strength" technique. That is... what all the super forms are after all.

Unless you're separating up a Saiyans potential 'ki' into light pools: Red (Kaio-ken, Base God), Yellow (Super Saiyan 1-3), and Blue. Guess that makes sense for Goku's new combined form:

I've long been burned out on frieza, so I'm even less enamoured with his shitty knock off doppleganger. I hope they all get hakai'ed at the end of this arc
