Amazon is Lisa Lisa

Time to bring back the avatar

If you spend 8k on it here in Japan, that's your own fault.

There will be plenty of places selling it for much less, as always.

Edit: also if I remember correctly, P4: Golden was also super pricey over here.

Pretty rare with region locked PS3 games afaik, nice with a date nontheless.

Day 1

Just noticed Elf doing kung fu kick in the background

Everything in Japan is more expensive.
Darkstalkers R. is $15 on US PSN, in Japan it got a disc release for $40.
I've been living in Japan for some time now, so yeah, I realize that the game prices here are over the top (everyone agrees about that), but I hope that it'll be the price for the PS3/Vita double pack - not paying that much for one version, even though most stores will probably sell it for ~7,5k.

Cross-buy/cross-play isn't confirmed for the Japanese version, but looks like cross-save is. Also, the Vita version will indeed support infrastructure (online) multiplayer.

Day 1.
Hopefully the cross stuff is still in. Especially if there's a bundle deal for the PS3 and Vita versions.

(If I was Sony if support atlus in making it cross buy)

Is there a history of 3rd party games offering that feature? (cross-buy)

because I can't think of any outside digital only releases to begin with. Most other games just allow you to share DLC I think

As I said from the very first reveal Day Fucking 1

Both PS3 & Vita

Gimme DAT Amazon!

Give me all the Double D's and Double Platinums!

I hope they at least have bundle deal, get ps3&vita version for discounted price

If that is 8190 for *each* version, noone in their right mind is gonna buy both.
I hope they are including both in one pack.

I can't imagine it being 8190yen for the Vita version either. Makes no sense at all. The most logical possibility is that they're selling both versions in on package, and pushing it on PS3, with Vita being the "on the go" version. But this -is- Japan, so who knows... It should be clarified by tomorrow.

In Japan, this is normal price.

Sometimes I think threads about Japanese releases should avoid listing the price so we don't get comments like these.

well, 8,190yen for a PS3 game is ok, but if it's the same price for Vita... well, it's very expensive

This is what, 1.5 years overdue?

Imagine if some guy had picked playing this as his last wish.

It's not really overdue at all. It was announced in 2011 when Vanillaware was finishing up Grand Knights History. Taking about 2 years to make a substantial game is about par for Vanillaware. It's not like they can do anything if Ignition decided to lie about when the game was due. That's probably why Ignition is out of business, and Vanillaware is not. :P

Looking forward to what Shitgnition Entertainment Atlus is pushing.

I've obviously just been confused/ignorant of the whole story on this for some time.

Regardless, I'm glad we have a real date. Can't believe we're getting the Capcom D&D brawlers this year too.

I hope this game doesn't take too long to come to North America. Creepy character graphics aside, this game looks awesome.

This will be the perfect お疲れ様 present to myself for 5 years of work in Japan. My contract ends two or three days later.

And Final Fantasy X HD is coming next, baby. #BELIEVE

Grand Knights History. ;_;

Loooooove the artstyle. Getting a serious heavy metal vibe with some character models.. Wish it would come to the West this year.

I've seen one of the scans, and effectively it lists just 8,190 Yen as price. No difference. That's seriously too much for a Vita title. Still, I'm going to search for One Piece KM2 Famitsu scans, since that's a case of a multi release with different prices.
