Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen PC |OT| Wolves hunt in 4K

I'm not a fan of the way the devs handled exploration

I see all these cool places, get a bit in to them and then realize they have locked areas that I'm inevitably going to go back to later on in the game as part of a quest.

gathered the 20 stones and the everfall lady says I wont be able to return, so I assume that goes into NG+

what happens to my BBI progress?

, what the fuck are you doing at
Grigori's place
? I specifically talked to the person I wanted to be my love interest again before doing the Greatwall quest because that's what I've read is the deciding factor if you have multiple people at max affinity. Does the pink glow only signal high and not max affinity? I guess it doesn't really matter who the love interest is anyway, am I right?

Why didn't you give that last person the arisen's bond? That's the only way to max affinity for sure.

I thought the pink glow already means that I'm at max affinity with that person already so I figured the bond wouldn't do anything anyway. Welp, whatever. :)

MH4U is infinitely less janky than dragons dogma in every way imaginable (I played with a circle pad pro). They are not even on the same level, especially with collision detection.

Most of that is due dragons dogma being a bigger more ambitious game, which almost always comes with jank.

Edit: Here is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-CmJ2h8mwU showing some of what I'm talking about. This shit happened constantly, and frequently caused the AI to path is strange ways and aggro enemies far from me and die.

I feel bad for you. Ive never seen that happen before. If your running into glitches like that, then I can understand why some would call it janky. But I havent ran into any of that before. The game runs perfect for me.

I just did the hydra head escort quest again on NG+, and the guards literally clipped through the back of the cart in their run animations going no where trying to get to their positions beside it the entire trip because I killed all the enemies.

It is janky. It is hilarious. It has a minor impact on gameplay, which is still superb.

I'm level 37, Melee doesn't seem to do much

Maybe I should switch my sorc to ice based attacks. Thanks!

Any news on the Guts armor being modded back into the game? The cheat engine thing seems to be false for the main game.

Apparently, since the assets were removed from the PC port, they'd need to be ripped from the original console game and converted. They'll probably be one of the first mods released after models can be imported properly.

Lol, I couldn't even read that last loading screen before the final credits roll. It was too fast I could barely read one line. And I'm not even on an SSD.

Now off I go to the NG+.

All this gear sucks but this is Fashion Dogma and it's a pretty good set.

The sad truth is if my pawn looked like this instead of being fully decked out in the best tanking gear she'd get more rentals, lol

Asked a few pages ago but never got an answer, what quests should I do before seeing the duke? Did all 4 wyrm hunt quests and as far as I know did every quest that was given to me in Gransys but there are some areas in the outer world that I haven't explored yet.

If you don't know who valmirro is, pay a visit to Cassardis and look inside houses for a quest.

Really got to say thanks again to the person who took my Pawn Iris and gave her BBI lv 3 gear. Turned out to be the Gauntlets of Shadow which finally meant I could get rid of the DLC gear.

Don't worry, it'll happen one day. :p
Happened to me today on PC. It reset my position after a minute though.

I absolutely love the game (since it was released) but I've always described it as a diamond in the rough because it's janky as shit. Just climbing up in a straight line on some enemies can be an exercise in frustration because of the changing camera angles causing you to go in different directions.

But anyways, made Grigori my bitch again. This time as a Mage. Pretty interesting sitting back and letting my dark-imbued pawns do the work.
Slapping his heart with my staff for the killing blow was priceless.

You're welcome.

Was she wearing the princess outfit?

I fucking love High Brontide, I wish I could walk around with it all the time and not get knocked out of it by a rat looking at me wrong. Does that still happen if you use it as Mystic Knight with like, full knockback resistance?

You've given quite the number of BBI level 3 weapons to people. I too got one from you a few days ago. It was well appreciated.

I'm on a mission to motivate people to stop equipping ugly DLC gear. If this means I have to give out BBI gear to every pawn on my friends list, then by god I will.

Plus I savescum chests like a whore and have extra everything.

dat spike in difficutly. I can barely damage the
corrupted pawns
in the pilgrim's gauntlet (BBI).

Hit the casters with physical attacks, hit the shield wearers with elemental attacks. Holy works on them all.

In fact, if you're taking a Mage into BBI you should (probably) always use the holy enchant when not fighting the Bishop.
