People are getting confused.
Kill the Dragon, that ends the game and starts post-game.
Finish the post-game boss, that ends the game for good. Then you gotta new game +.
So after the Dragon, you still have a ton of time to do BBI before new game +.
There is absolutely no benefit to doing new game +.
In fact, it resets your shit.
For some reason people think there's new content or something in new game+? There isn't. There are no new enemies, or quests. The game doesn't get harder. You just get to play the game over again.

Where do people get this idea? Hard mode is something seperate. NG+ doesn't change anything difficulty wise.
I leapt at him. Completely missed my grab and he flew away after grabbing a cow.

The demo had you fight a griffin in it.
It made me buy the game.
Latching on to a flying griffin, setting it's wing ablaze, and performing a jumping spinnin slash attack just before it hits the ground as the in the dead of a pitch black night...
Man...you just can't do that anywhere else.

...finish the game completely, BBI was never meant to do randomly during a playthrough, its story makes many references to the actual end of the game and won't make any sense unless you've finished the game, heck you might be spoiling yourself a bit by doing BBI first.

Yep, same here. I remember not being interested in the game at all prior to the demo. But once I grabbed onto that griffin and it attempted to fly off with me.. I knew this game was something special.

Daimon keeps on kicking my ass even at this level, and I remember when I played on the PS3 it wasn't that hard at around level 100.
Anyways, I figured there would be an OT for sharing pawns, or is this the only place?

So this is basically what happened earlier when I used Great Cannon. I'm guessing there was a miasma spell in effect and the cannon was so close to the Chimera that the cannon was able to let off a steady stream of bullets.
Great Cannon procs off pretty much anything. Get a pawn to cast that spell that envelops him/her in a dome of lightning and cast great cannon twice.
Also if you cast ruinous sigil after casting Great cannon, any enemy that lands in the sigil will get lit up by a bunch of Great Cannon attacks.

Also for reals, no idea why my pawn's AI falls apart completely when facing Living Armors. Had to start carrying heaven's key again. Also had to learn to Git Gud with dodge roll. Gods, masterful kill is such a great skill.

I always look forward to getting Fornival thrown in jail, so I did the quest to get the gold idol before doing the gather evidence quest.. And did everything possible short of forgery to get a guilty verdict. And yet Fornival walks free. I know it's random chance, but it's supposed to be pretty slim in the first place... Oh well.

Poked my head into BBI for the first time today. Made it to a room with a huge chained up cyclops and a single gargoyle that I seemingly couldn't kill. I ran around, collected all the treasures, and got the eff out of dodge. Seems pretty damn awesome. Really good atmosphere, exploration, and rewards in there. Can't wait to go back after I finish the main game.

Just go newgame+, no worries. After the credits, you have to load a (clear) save, don't press "new game".

Anyway, you can do the expansion in NG+, no big deal. If you want access to Gran Soren for the Black Cat you need to do the hydra mission which is a bit annoying but once that's done you're set.
If you start new game + from loading your clear save, you can get to the BBI pretty quickly. I believe it opens up once first get the Hydra head. There's even an NPC in the BBI that will let you change jobs and learn skills so you don't need to go to Gran Soren unless you want to access some shops.
Most escort quests are optional, it's best to ignore them until NG+. Then you can place portcrystals at the destination before you accept the quest and teleport instantly to the destination (the person goes with you) for an easy completion.
I think your only option is to start NG+ and rush to complete the quest that gives you the main pawn so you can unlock BBI again.
That's a gorecyclops, it's one of those enemies that I don't even dare to encounter withshort ranged weapon.

I don't know why, my game is mostly stable 55-60, but some areas give me consistent stuttering. Duskmoon Tower is one of those, I always drop to 45 in that place. WTH

You can buy them from the Black Cat in NG+, otherwise there are limited crystals in fixed locations in the world.

I've updated it to run and stuck it on the nexus. I really need to sit down on my next day off work and get into setting up weathers/learning some stuff.
You can get five in the main game, most of which are in locations you have to go to for the main quest... Actually I think only one of them is hidden in a sidequest, and you're pretty much bludgeoned with that side quest on your way to the inn after meeting the Duke.
