Oh man, this game is just amazing when it gets dark. Sometimes I turn off the lantern just to appreciate it.

I heard the game has some serious Pawn related glitches on PC. Should I wait for a patch or am I fine just running with my player created Pawn?

You can still use other people's pawns, they just won't get the benifits
The pawn system is borked currently. I don't think anyone knows for certain their pawns are being rented beyond being directly told.
I wish I knew if someone was hiring my pawn. I've done my best to make her useful and keep her skills and gear up to date.
I generally go through my friend list and grab two pawns a few levels higher than me and keep them until I've outleveled them myself. Usually a few hours of play at least.
Maybe I should cycle them even more frequently.
I'm in the same boat. From what I understand, you need to complete chasing shadows to have her open her shop in GS. If you miss that quest, she's gone.

I have a ton of friends with the game but every time I go into a rift i see the same low level pawns. Anyone else see this?
Oh, I didn't realize that.
I've only been able to see the same 15 or so pawns on my friends list, despite over 100 people owning the game.
Just looked, one out of three people on my friends list own Dragon's Dogma.

Yeah and I'm level 32 and only see a bunch of like 10-15 lvl pawns
The early version the ENB 296 didn't actually work right, Boris reuploaded it and it works again now. So if you got it in the first few hours and replaced it (like I did) it disabled most of the effects like DoF even if enabled. Was scratching my head about it earlier today too, saw it in the comments on one of the Nexus threads.

Quick question: Will I be able to use the skills I have gained as a fighter (shield bashing taunt, running thrust thing) when I change to MK?
Edit: Also, I could only find 3 flowers for the first sidequest. They were around a big tree. Will they re-spawn or do I need to explore further from the village?

They respawn, usually in a day or so. They can be found further out though.
Anyone know the quickest way to get a Mystic Shield with a parry timing window worth a damn? The wooden wall is laughable.

Whatever I seem to change it's still way too bright.
It's called "vignette" for further reference and can be disabled by using ENB. Set DisableVignette=true in enblocal.ini
Can I use ENB with Reshade?

I'm using wickfut's config, but it's not working as intended as the core ENB file is didn't actually work. So to get my result, you have to use that 'broken' ENB file, otherwise you'll get the usual ENB effects.
Here's another shots, I think it's perfect for those who prefer original look of the game but wanted to add AO and eliminate the vignette.
Here's the 'broken' ENB file if anyone interested. Just put it on the game's folder alongside with Wickfut's files.Before

Some people on the steam forum are saying that the pawn system is fixed, they got rewards and reviews already. Apparently it's not working for everyone yet.

Oh, I see. I've been using wickfut's config but it kind of destroys the original look and it's way too bright for my taste. I just want to remove the vignette filter and maybe add some AO.

edit: any idea on how it broke btw? Or is it just an old .dll?
I wish someone would come up with a way to remove the vignette without the use of ENB. Even if you just use "vignette off", you still lose a bunch of framerate with ENB.

Just as a heads up, a lot of balance stuff is tied into the carry limit and weight system. If you bypass that you're going to mess up the game's balance.

The system is broken atm so ratings and gifts are being ignored.
I might be encountering a similar bug, but mine has a solution. One of my moves was a melee with a charge up on it. After charging, I hit the button again but it wouldn't launch the attack. Letting go of the modifier key (left ctrl in this case) let the attack loose.
Maybe try letting go of the bumper and seeing if the attack goes?

Just reached gran Soren, changed my vocation and now I have all this new items with great stats to choose from, they have a little house icon, are these dlc stuff? If they are I don't want them

That's because none of the capcom osaka games are actually ports, their workflow dictates a pc version existing first, even if it was never released/released later.
Nah you can just run and grab their tail and then climb up the weak spot and annihilate them.
Yes these are dlc/dark arisen items. Some of them have very good stats (especially the duke's outfit), so you are better off not using them until you're at least in very late game.
