Dragon's Dogma |OT| For the night is dark and full of terrors

so when do you receive loot from the ur dragon? what if i stop playing before he went down? will the damage just be deleted on my side when i go offline?

You'll still get rewards based upon how much total dmg you did. Best rewards are for "killing" blows. Just go back into the room and see if it displays loot on the floor by the leaderboard stone.

Does new game+ add new board quests or something? I don't remember these "kill x amount of saurians for 500k gold" quests, gives a lot of money

It adds a couple but not too many of them. The Saurian one is nice; so easy to just farm them outside Grand Soren

woop, i locked myself out of a bunch of quests and stuff by doing too much story. but i feel so overlevelled already and just want more big monsters :/ well at least i'll have things to do in NG+

quests are pretty poor in post game as well. not much to do besides revisiting old areas and everfall. i need more quests.

will do, thx.

Kill this Ur-Dragon so I can get some stuff. lol =p

But yeah post-game feels kinda depressing. lol. The way everything looks now. >_<

My pawn went from saying "There's no way we could've lost to that." to "I hope we could survive the next encounter..." after every fight, thanks to post game >:(

lol. Yeah I dunno why but the Ur Dragon came down for like a few seconds and I think I shot him. But then he flew away. Can't get him to come back. Kinda confused.

Could someone gift me silk lingerie. I failed some mission and Madeleine can't open her shop and I didn't get the lingerie from the camp or the duchess' chamber.

My PSN id is Dremorax.

It definitely isn't 100%(unless you save/suicide :D), but I got it from one of the three chests in the basement of the ruined tower. It also drops the red corset AFAIR

How do you get rid of your main Pawn? Throw him/her in the water and let Brine do the rest? Or is there any other way?

i probably shouldn't have taken this escort quest, but now I kind of don't want to finish it since this little partner of mine has been with me for like 20 hours now and still survives. She's like a mascot!

WHO? How is that even possible without ever leaving Gran Soren for 20 hours?

Really? I've been looking for the noblewoman's corset everywhere to no avail. I've gone to that chest at least 6 times, I have a crapload of silk lingerie.

Is the strategy guide worth it? I'm considering getting it for a NG+ playthrough once I beat the game and mess around with post game for a bit.

I think it's a complete mess. I missed a bunch of big quests due to incorrect or vague information. There's some useful info, but on the whole I feel you don't need to use it.

I swear I have the most terrible luck in the post-game dungeon. Out of all the chests I've opened down there, I've gotten TWO useful pieces of equipment. =/

What's the best way to get a new Magick Bow ? Still have the first one >_<, do I need to progress the story after the hydra head escort quest.

I swear, the
Everfall
fight against
a Chimera, a Black Chimera, and a Hellhound summoning Wight
must be some kind of cruel joke devised by Capcom. That shit's just unwinnable.

What's up with Warrior being only able to equip 3 skills? Pretty sure they said on a blog they don't have secondary weapon but they have more skills to use, like mages.

um, so when it dies; it dies for everone? How does this work?!?

there's a short period of time where it will spawn with virtually zero health after someone kills it.

get a few good shots in, and you get credit for the killing blow on it- that means a ton of great equipment and the trophy/achievement.

The damage every player is doing to the Ur Dragon is cumulative and when his health finally reaches 0 for one player there is a short time frame in which other people can go into the game to find the Ur Dragon with close to 0 health for an easy kill. Otherwise you would have virtually no chance to ever kill the Ur Dragon yourself.

I know right? Who's brilliant idea was this? However Warriors are absolutely bonkers when they do actually hit something, so maybe thats why? I'm not sure.

Another 3 skills should be patched in.

Also, the ability to arrage items alphabetically would really help.

NG+ is freaking awesome! Love being able to buy portcrystals, I've explored even more of the map in my new game 'cos I can go that bit further. Really glad they still let you access the Ur-Dragon, nice touch. Looking forward to getting back to the Everfall and making it to 100+. Here's hoping they have some proper expansion DLC planned!

Question time again. If I give gifts to Innkeepers and Merchants will they reduce the amount of money I can spend to rest, and if so what are the best things?

I'm pretty sure it was the middle of those 3 chests that dropped it for me. If you aren't doing so already, just save right there, and then run outback and jump off the wall to your death. Rinse and repeat. It isn't a 2% chance like
Everfall
stuff, so it should pop up pretty quick.

Reaching Rank 5 with the Fighter vocation so my Ranger can use the Sinew augment sure was quick. I think it took me a little over 40 minutes before I reached it. Sure was faster than anything else so far. Weird.

Yeah I think some vocation rank up faster than others, I remember reading strider requires less points than say fighter to rank up or something, and hybrid class takes longer.

Damn, that's a great idea, gonna try that now. Thanks.

Got it on my first reload! It's in the same chest as the silk lingerie, thanks man!

You know, it's funny. At the post-game, the game really does kinda turn into Monster Hunter, a bit. At least, that's what I feel like I'm playing when I do
Everfall
.

Damn, i fucked up escort duty and got a golden egg instead of the idol >_<

Forgot to make a checkpoint, so it's in NG++ then... Don't want to lose hours and levels >_<

Meh, I just realized that I can't get all the non-notice board quests done in my NG+ playthrough, because I apparently messed up earlier in the game. Don't think I'll bother with getting the platinum anymore.

Damn, I knew this game would be a problem for my Plasma TV. Turned on some burn-in slides to see if the game did anything after 100 hours and sure enough, the health bar has burned in slightly. Good thing I turned off the button prompts on the bottom right from the beginning, that would've made it even worse. I thought the black bars were going to be the worst offender but there doesn't seem to be any problem with them at all.
