ah good good... I was getting real careful like because it had been ages since I had been to the deposit box for my items, and I was super ridiculously heavy.

in the time since I was last at a deposit back I did that Fourneval escort quest, I felled TWO Drakes, one Hydra, two golems, three ogres, one evil eye and two Cockatrice's. I was weighed down by scales, eyes, bones, tears and detritus of every kind from around the land. All four of my guys are 'very heavy' lol

Protip: When unloading your wares, like selecting your Materials to deposit, hit start & it will let you deposit all of them in that category at once rather than one by one.

I also recently found that you can press start & then select to automatically ask to save & continue. Save me from bring up the extra window for then choosing & selecting it.

On my NG+, the Griffin never even got to Bluemoon. I just went up the tower and there was a door made of bars before you go outside that I used when I went to fight Salomet. That lead to the roof.

On the map it's represented by a big honkin' crystal.

Also if you use a ferrystone, it shows you a list of all available places you can go (basically, portstones + Gran Soren). If your portstone is down, it will be on that list.

Maybe he died somewhere if he's not at cassardis or pawn guild, try resting for 7 days at some other place and see if he respawn (npc respawn 7 days after their deaths I think).

Cassardis' inn-keeper can deposit and withdraw, but I can't remember off the top of my head if he can combine.

Ok I just finished the most cryptic archaic quest I have taken on bar none. "Nameless Terror", seriously design decisions like these are down right baffling.

Pablos inn in cassardis or at the encampment. I had asalam as my love interest in the first playthrough, so i used a lot of ferrystones to manage inventory...

Yeah, some of the locations where it triggered was really absurd, especially the one near Mountain Waycastle. It felt like such a chore completing the quest on my first playthrough. They could have made it a lot more interesting by making it trigger randomly while you are in the middle of a main story quest. I would have loved to see it happen inside Gran Soren during the day and then witnessing the ensuing chaos. But I'm obviously asking for too much.

my pawn started as a fighter. now i chose sorcerer as her last vocation to max out and she's wrecking shit. the only downside is that i get enveloped in some huge spell effect sometimes, which makes me lose orientation.

corrupt saves are not common have you shut down your console while the game saved? this game is saving all the time.

I typically save to the title menu and then exit the game. I can't imagine what I did wrong, unless one of my kids started the game and then exited it.

Just realized that the only quests I missed for "the hero" trophy were the ones involving princess aelinore. Apparently there was a brief moment you could speak to her in the castle garden?

Never noticed that chance and if you leave the castle area after meeting the duke(the ONLY moment where you can trigger this stuff) you are completely locked out of those side quests until ng+. Very annoyed right now.

I'm level 75ish and using Heavens Keys and absolutely wailing on this guy's arm where it has been damaged and is glowing. I've exhausted two bottles of Vims and about 10 large mushrooms and dealt no noticeable damage. I've got Clout, Vehemence & Bloodlust. My Keys are not upgraded but still...

Is there any Online Ur drop that cannot be obtained off-line? The offline one is so easy to farm but I seem to be getting only daggers, swords and wands.

So since it's easy to level out of any challenge pretty early in the game... I've been trying to add difficulty by gimping my party. At first it was "no healers" and then it became "just me and my strider pawn" and now it's "just me" lol.

But as a ranger, (which is the only class, save strider, that really works solo) I have no solution for phantoms. I don't have a magic attack. Will blast arrows work against them? I'm still kinda early in the game yet... I can kill everything myself so far, but the phantoms I have to run away from.

The online Ur-dragon fight is basically a lucky draw. And it also drops the abyssinal gear, and one of every other type of weapon that the offline version does not. The offline one only gives you the sword, dagger and staff.

I've just finished getting all the achievements....so I'm now doing a Dark Souls style playthrough from scratch. No pawns whatsoever. I just cleared the tutorial stage, it was brutal. Kill the chimera with no healing items left and only 34 health.

I like the class but I refuse to switch vocation until I find a different shield... my last character, I found a cool shield pretty early (but I forgot where!) but the starter shield is just too gigantic. I don't like how it looks. haha

Also, I won't use anything I feel like is an "exploit" against the AI. If it feels too cheap, I won't do it. I never cheesed on Demon's/Dark Souls bosses, and I just generally avoid anything that feels broken or takes away the challenge.

There isn't an actual smith in the pawn district... the weapons shop is by the main fountain, next to the Inn.

there is a main area of Gran Soren that will allow you to rest, mess with your inventory, classes, weapons, items, etc, just like most rpg's

i'm obsessed over this. i picked it up last sunday and i already have 50 hours lol.

I can't imagine someone trying to kill this thing in half a years time if each generation is tougher than the last..

Man this game is so not fun to play as a sorcerer. It's my last vocation I have left to max out and it's just.... ugh. I can't get a spell off without being hit by something cancelling the whole incredibly lengthy intonation times. Can't wait to ditch this shitty vocation and play as something worthwhile. I can see the benefits of having a mage/sorcerer pawn but as a main vocation it just sucks.

The Ur-Dragons health bar is connected to every other players game, no one player is supposed to defeat it while online as it's a big team effort. When it's eventually whittled down and dies there is something like a 30 minute window where it will spawn with 0 health, then it's time to claim the loot. Usually someone announces in this thread when it's available.

I believe this is actually the harshest, most limiting cut-off in the game. Consider it an incentivizer to play again in NG+ because you've just lost access to a bunch of stuff for the entirety of the playthrough.

I missed this and as a result Selene's entire side-story seems to blocked, which isn't good as without that you cant afaik get access to parts of the witchwood containing unique monsters (metal golems) and certain materials involved in gear upgrades and other message board quests (bay leaves).

I've been pretty careful but realistically I dont think there's any other severe cut-offs like that - at least without warning you first- later in the game, so its not too bad.

Yep, playing a magic user (Mage Sorcerer) in this game is painfully bad. Playing a semi-magic user isn't all bad though. Ultimately I prefer full on melee or archery.

The spell disorientation is really fucking ridiculous

I have missed important shots because my mage will try to heal the three damage I have by putting a giant glowing heal bubble in my face.

Or when my sorcerer will cast Tornado to kill off an enemy that is basically dead and I can't see shit because I was on top of it.

i don't think it's getting tougher, i think there is less people actually trying to kill it, so less damage dealt overall. i don'T think these 11 healthbars are representing all health he got, if the guide is right and he has 1.47 million hp so one healthbar has to be around 130000 HP. to take 70% off that ... with 5k strength maximum? i don't really believe you can do so much crits...^^

so i think many people, who bought the game are just over with fighting Ur-Dragon and are not contributing anymore. so it doesn't get harder, it just takes longer. If the rumour is correct, that every death or leaving before the dragon leaves gives health to it, than there must be a lot of kill leechers who just pop in to look how much health he has...

either way ... maybe, the system is not that good as capcom first thought, maybe it's just new and we have to figure more out about it... i missed out gen 66 and 67 although i took him multiple times 1 health bar or 90% of one ... and as i went in the next day, i found some money... the loot after the kill and the loot for contributing is just too different. if there were at least some XP bonus...

my pawn with level 130 barely gets hired (because it would cost a shitload of RC, i cant rent pawns hire than me because of that)... yeah, that's about it. i was 296 or something on the hunter's list with 18 kills... i think that's enough ... maybe with my next char i'll do it again. doing it offline to grind XP will be probably better to my sanity. waisting 50min on one generation and getting some G, RC and Seeker's Token? i think i spent more money fpr maker's finger and curatives, then i can get for just contributing :-/

for the achievement, just kill damn ur-dragon offline. with the assassin build (clout, vehemence. autonomy and all "by night" stuff) it shouldn't be longer than 2 rounds. i tried it once and did it in one round without maker's finger... just too easy, compared to "online". i want to try and record it, to see how fast i can get... but i don't know, today i feel a little bit tired ...
