No wrong time to do it. If you want to maximize your effectiveness as a Sorcerer I'd recommend switching as soon as possible.
If I let my uber 112lvl Sorc go, can I get another uber level partner? Or was it a one time deal?

Am I missing something? There has to be an easier way to de-helmet a troll
Crawl onto his head, he will swipe at you, knocking his helmet off. This is the only method I know =(.
Are you for real? I'll try that next time
I got the game last week, I'm 28 ish right now? Anywho
You can lose your main pawn if they were KOed and you got separated right?
Does dialogue change if your male or female? The wife of the duke seems really friendly. Maybe she's just being nice *raises eyebrow*

OK picked this up over the weekend. Just getting started but some quick questions.
1 - Is my main pawn automatically made available for others to rent? Do I need to do anything to make her available for use? Also, if someone is using her... does she leave my party?
2 - I heard some people say the game is easy, would yall recommend not going with a full party right away? I dont want to steamroll everyone and have the combat be an afterthought, should I go with 2 pawns instead of 3?
3 - Can warriors roll? I saw that they dont get a shield, do they get any kind of evasive maneuver?
4 - Silly question but Im just curious... can you sever limbs or heads or any kind of nasty finishing moves? (Just curious, like I said I have barely played the beginning so far and combat feels good regardless)

Awesome thanks for the answers. Game is great so far... really drawing me in. Probably going to go with a warrior, cant deny those massive 2handers.
Warrior is a fun class imo... but it's really hampered by the fact they only let you equip three skills. Every other class has six, but warriors have to make the really hard choice of which three skills to equip. Hurts the enjoyment of the class quite a bit unfortunately. Especially since some of the skills are pretty awesome.
Ouch that stinks, yeah only having 3 skills would get old. Im actually liking the sword and board right now, I may end up going back if Warrior does work out. I just cant fight the urge to play a massive conan the barbarian type guy
I do like how fighter has a good mix of offense and defense, seems pretty useful.
OK new question. Went with a strider pawn. What skills are good for a strider pawn? I want to make her useful and make sure lots of people choose her so she gets some good experience.
Absolutely not. It's something we all had to get a feel for when we first started. Certain quests are made available to you way earlier than you're probably prepared for them - they're not impossible to undertake, but they may require quite a bit of skill and/or smart thinking from the player to accomplish. For example, the bandits on the way to the Witchwood during Lost and Found are considerably stronger than you at the point where you first get the quest. Same with a few early-game escort quests that send you to the Shadowfort.
Ensnare/Implicate is a good skill to deal with those annoying direwolves early on.Biting/Cutting wind is great too.
On a side note, is Hundred Kisses bugged? Sure seems like it. If you simply mash the ability, without letting it finish to the kick animation it never consumes any more stamina, and you can just whack away at something all day long.

AFAIK it should eventually end in a kick after a very long string slashes. Absolutely demolishes several health bars on larger enemies when staggered.
So... the year is nearly at an end. Anyone else consider this their GOTY?
It's far from perfect, but ill be damned if I had a better time in a game this year. No gaming experience this year has topped setting myself on fire and riding a griffin into the sky while stabbing and burning the shit out of him.

GOTY
yep riding a griffing and stabbing it to death to bring it down was one of the best experiences of the yearSo... the year is nearly at an end. Anyone else consider this their GOTY?

GOTY
Definitely tied for my GOTY. I still haven't tried out that Immolation skill, even though I unlocked it pretty early. How bad does it hurt you?
Just beat the game... Awesome. One of my favorite games this year.

Joining the GOTY wagon. And by far.
Hard Mode isn't hard at all when you're level 200. Sure, there's a noticeable damage increase but the enemies seem to have the exact same amount of health as on Normal.
The "rewards" for completing it are pretty underwhelming, as well -- though the new Abyssinal piece does look sweet with the rest of the set.
Now I need to see what the prizes for clearing the Speedrun are.
did you really beat the game ? I hope you don't think that beating the dragon is enough to beat this game...
How valuable is crafting? Are there any necessity items or really good weapons/armor that you get from crafting? I'm not gonna lie, I generally don't like to mess with crafting in games so I've been selling all my mats. But I'm only like level 11 so I'll change my tune if its worth it.
Yeah, I'm level 32 and it's starting to ease up a bit. I still have post-game to look forward to, though. I tend to restart from level 1 as opposed to starting NG+ because it's always been so easy.
Does Ur drop any new loot in Hard Mode?
I hope Dark Arisen comes with lots of new gear.
