apparently dall-e 3 access is rolling out to some chat gpt plus users but i don't have it yet, there was some web form where you could request access but it's down now. they haven't officially rolled it out though. any chat gpt plus users have it yet?

You can just use it on Bing, either the website or through the app.

This being said, last time I checked it was not rolled out to everyone yet, to check if you have it just try a prompt with a written sign, if the image is able to write more than just gibberish, it means you have dalle 3 active.

true but chat gpt will allow you to tell the generator to refine an image you've already created, "make it brighter" etc. also the prompt length might be longer but not sure.

in the open ai app if you have it, it will list dall e 3 under the gpt4 tab

I got access to ChatGPT Plus Multimodal today, but not DALLE-3 yet.

OK, so this was my first prompt:
Nintendo's Kirby and Jean Claude Van Damme kickbox against each other in a 16-bit fighting video game displayed on the monitor of a giant Game Boy Advance. Princess Peach and Princess Zelda play the game, cheered in by Hatsune Miku and Mai Shiranui dressed in tuxedos

And...

The GBA is consistently fantastic, but it didn't really get a lot of other details.
I didn't expect it to give me Mai Shiranui even if wearing a tux, but I'm disappointed nobody really looks like JCVD. Kinda like its twist on the tuxedo detail.

Turns out this AI really gets Isabelle from Animal Crossing, but the system does not recognize anyone else (MS, pls fix!), none of the Mable sisters, Tom Nook or any of the popular villagers. Ankha is so ruined by the internet it's probably resulting in a blocked prompt. Changing Isabelle's dress is limited and wonky, but possible and it resulted in the second image.

Next generation Animal crossing video game, Isabelle welcoming the player, masterpiece, very detailed, soft lighting, intricate detail and shader work, realistic, masterpiece, very detailed, soft lighting, intricate detail, lifelike, realistic, 8k, UHD

A prompt experiment for a From Software game called "Dragonborne".
This one hit me in the feels, back on the Amiga I was very impressed with fractal landscape generators like Vista Pro and I used it for backgrounds in animation and art I drew with Deluxe Paint. Today you prompt a server and after a few seconds it spits out four amazing pictures, each of them so complex it would take a team of artists several days of modelling and compositing to render them.

Input: Box art for Atari Force on the Atari Jaguar with Martin Champion on the cover

Output: 80's porn stash, hottie love intrest, laser guns, epic space battles and a hover car! Seems like a fun game!

Inspiration is the 1980's Atari Force comic book series by DC.

Concept: John Carpenter's THE THING fps game using Unreal Engine
Prompts: "unreal engine 4k film still john carpenter's THE THING with first person perspective of gruesome creature with spider like appendages being hit with flamethrower snow night"
Maybe not a full on FPS, but it could be a great property for a videogame.

While hunting down the Necryte, she begins to experience symptoms affecting her mental faculties and psyche.

PSICOM detects unusual psychological state and intel initiates status check-up. She's been instructed to make for the subway station as the rendezvous point. There are terminals built allowing for additional accessibility. (The wristwatch is also how you'd access the game's menus -- everything freezes around her. Network Terminals located in various areas probably permit full access maybe, I don't know.)

Discharge - a simple electrostatic discharge.
In the "Liberation" state, she can access what would've been Parasite Energy in the original, except it's now aesthetically electrostatic or radiation. Let's just say it's a discharge of thermal energy from her cellular cycle. Lighter hair, red eyes, increased damage, and most abilities have an upgraded finisher.

"Impulse" - An irradiating shockwave damaging foes and reducing their battle effectiveness.

After dispatching foes, finally makes it to Subway station. Instructed to wait for the metro line.

Apparently, another batch of Necryte down the terminal have overtaken the metro line. She decides to make an opening for escape back to the surface street.

I must've generated over 1000+ images, saved 350~, uploaded about a third of that for this next one. SE no longer holds rights for PE, so my concept would be rewritten/reboot of the original series. This time, an outbreak of a necrotic disease causing burnt flesh and outgrowths, bones to char, and the infected individual's cells to generate intense heat during its cycle. An investigative command, PSICOM, is formed and deployed to contain the pandemic -- subordinate to them are Agents like Aya who have shown some considerable resistance to the disease. Conducted research and studies in labs have yet to conclude anything, but they are surveilled and controlled by wristbands capable of intercommunication with PSICOM through its worldwide network.

Very image heavy ahead, maybe NSFW (not really though). It was extremely difficult to choose for posting here. There are some apparel inconsistencies since its AI of course. Pretend the inconsistencies in appearance below is just an optional in-game costume change for Aya. Also, pretend the text on the jacket says "PSICOM" for correction. 😎

Oh my gosh, what prompt did you use to get a Yoshida art style? I've been trying to generate art in that exact style and nothing seems to apply
I don't know how to go back and check prompts from stuff that aren't on the "recent" tab, but I basically go for a couple of games to combine, tell if I want it in a (ie) painterly style, fantasy, medeieval city, four adventurers walking in the middle of a city, and so on.

I did a fun project, IMO at least... I attempted to turn key characters from Aliens into Metal Gear Solid-style concept art, as though they were making Hideo Kojima's Aliens. On Shadow Moses... I guess. I dunno, maybe I'll go try to combine the horseshoe spaceship with Arsenal Gear or something.

Anyway, for the prompts I used midjourney to try to approximate something between the character design art in the first game, and the boxart for MGS2. I never really got anything that looks like the MGS2 boxart, but regardless once I had something that felt at least mildly interesting I took the same exact prompt and put it into DALL-E.

I think there are some fun differences.
I'll start putting up the comparisons tomorrow. (y)
