That, but I want a Racing class (Sports prototype, I'd prefer any kind of Formula race car but there are no lights), I'd also love rally but hey I'm greedy. The DC engine trying to get the feel of a race car would be fantastic.

My favourite is the super class, followed by the hyper. One thing about the super class which is interesting is the variety it offers, handling wise. In other classes, the cars are different, but not to the extend of the super with its single seater ( BAC Mono/Ariel Atom are world aparts), the Twin'Run, and the other car which has more traditional handling. It would be great if other classes could offer such difference, even those I didn't list. A jumpy hot-hatch in corner would be fun.
Also, for the list of club, mine is Eurobeat. I will let you guess what is my playlist when I play DC.
Edit: Rushy, while you're in here, what's the reason the Ferrari 599XX is only available in multiplayer? I assume there's a reason behind it, but I can't fathom why.

Performance, Supers and Hot hatch in that order of preference. I'd like to see some old classics, if possible.

Indeed, not sure why you'd want to simulate the event?
If you really must, run it once then set a challenge from your most recently played list. Probably the easiest way.

Wait...maybe I am just dumb. I assumed later tour events were locked until I finished the prior championship. I am still working on Amateur right now. Can I just go and do any tour event, even the more advanced ones, without completing the championships along the way?

Been meaning to give those challenges another shot. Still getting acquainted with Japan.
But yeah , keep those challenges coming! I'll attempt the non-drifting ones, and then Shaneus will beat whatever times I set by ten seconds at least ;p
Why not? He won't beat it but can at least see what the fuss is first hand. I do this all the time though mostly in racing where I don't know track and/or car but I have used single events for time trials as well. I don't like seeing the star ghost cars at times and just want next fastest time to me. So instead of running against what I can't hit I'm aiming for the next closest person to my time which is much more doable. Especially when their car is erratic and hitting walls. Makes me feel better!
Hah, I doubt it! I'm not near my PS4 anywhere near enough to try out that many challenges. So set times for as many as you can!

Best balance for all the tracks. Hot hatches are really fun on smaller tracks and performance shines on the larger ones. IMHO I think Super and Hyper don't translate well to any driving game. They get "too gamey" if that makes any sense.

Personally, and I don't think I'm alone, an American Muscle class and a Japanese Class. I'm not a massive fan of American Muscle cars but I do think they would be well suited and provide a new challenge.

You can select friends from the list IIRC, perhaps try selecting him from in there instead?

Well, managed to finish first in a few races and have about 15 or so stars. Still not quite sure about drifting. There's lots to do, isn't there? Still feel a bit lost. Hopefully a few more hours and I'll know what's going on.
Also was going to have pink uber girly car design for the club. But thought it might put people off 😄

Hah, maybe someday. I've actually started to enjoy attempting to drift just for kicks in time trials (Japan, Yedapalli, some of the circuits), but drifting events themselves just don't draw me in.
So yeah, right now I suck way too much at drifting to earn tour stars much less tackle player challenges. That won't always be the case though, maybe, possibly, in the future. Potentially.
Thought it was worth mentioning to people on here as I know others had been having issues trying to use the "Restore Licenses" option since the DriveClub pre-order items were messed up. I hadn't tried for a while but I did earlier and it worked fine which is the first time since DriveClub launched although I've not tried it for a while.
I'm in the UK and and there were no pauses or anything like there was before and it did all licenses without issue. I'd luckily not had any issues accessing content but was having other issues with another game and one suggestion was to try and restore the licenses, which seems to be a suggestion for everything.
No idea when they fixed but I thought it was worth mentioning on here as I knew others had issues when trying to do it, don't know if it'll work for everybody. Hope it works for everybody else.

Ok GAF racers time to vote with your gas pedal. Sent two challenges on a Japan track, daytime, dry, no markers. This pits the McLaren F1 LM up against the P1. For shits and grins I'm curious which car is better balanced. So far the F1 got me a second faster because all the P1 goodies are a handful for me. Anybody else wants in, LordXarsNexus is my PSN.
Don't have much time for gaming atm but had a crack before bed tonight. Left a lot of room for improvement for everyone.
Lunar FC, also looking for some new members since a couple we have are not active anymore.

Anyone else have a problem with game streaming and playing online?
If I'm broadcasting or was broadcasting at any point during my Driveclub session I can't play online (countdown finishes I go into the room and get an error).
