I want to be drunk.

I bought Tequila and Daiquiri mix but my blender and icetrays are locked downstairs in my friends apartment.

I wont drink the tequila straight on principle.

Any of y'all only smoke when drinking? I used to smoke all the time, but now just when drinking. It's too good a combo. Yeah, yeah, I have smoker's breath, but it's not like I'm going to kiss you anyway if you are a guy. So it doesn't matter.

Mix the tequila with the daiquiri mix and a splash of water. There's no excuse to not get drunk when having alcohol around!

Most of my nonsmoker friends tend to do that. I, however tend to not smoke at all (even though the combo is great) when drinking.. Especially if i am out. Mainly because cigs have a tendency to boost my "drunkness"..
Which usually means i have to get "vip"-escort by the guards by the time i've finished my cig. Have lost so many jackets and coats because of this mistake -.-

Would likely be drunk at this point of the night anyway but I found out earlier tonight that one of my best friend's was just diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Really upset about this. Fucking hell we are only 29 and something like this is a massive dose of "reality" or health check or however you want to describe it. For the record, if someone you know loses a lot of weight mysteriously and has bad itching all over them with no signs of why, get that shit checked out asap. Not more than a month ago we laughed at the idea he might have Hodgkin's when he described his symptoms...I feel so fucking stupid now for ever laughing at that.

too true. Im a bit of a hipster sometimes, but when i go to hip bars I can't believe they sell malt liquor in 24 ounce bottles. Its weird. The whole point of malt liquor is you get it in a 40 and then pound it.

btw, while i was too drunk at a hip bar, a girl was asking her bf what the phone was while standing behind me and he said "oh its an iphone 4 with the new software and he doesn't even have a cover". I hate what being hip has become, to the point that I really want to just nuke the idea of being hip from space.

Got a good deal on some Sapporo, so it's temporarily replaced my usual standby, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, for a few days.

Safeway had a huge wine sale today, so i stocked up. Will be working through those in short order.

I was drinking Jim Beam Devils Cut today. I was really interested in what made it different from the original Jim Beam until I read something on the bottle about "a portion of the liquid is lost from the barrel due to evaporation—that's the "Angel's Share." lol Come on now. Double lol
