guys the only threads i post in are the nba thread, nfl thread, and the various party/drunk threads. i can't decide if this is a problem or if my hobbies are perfect.

Started on vodka martini.

Moved on to Sam Adam's Octoberfest and Sailor Jerry and coke---about 4 of those.

I've ran out of RC cola and moved on to Ginger Ale and Sailor Jerry in a Coffee Cup.

I feel like Smoky Dave should be here.

Drank the rest of the shock top beer that I had sadly now I am out. Watching V for Vendetta and just really bored. Many thoughts are racing thru my head but they all fail.

Drank with friends. Had like 8 beers and drank quite a bit of jagger straight.... All my friends went to bed. I was Texting this girl I'm interested in, but she went to bed. Now there's just GAF.

Strongbow cider. Every time I drop into the local Whole Foods I come home with a different cider. How they can call this stuff dry, I have no idea. Way too sweet.

Edit: Also, why do I have to read the burger thread at 2 am? Now I want a burger, and nothing open right now will provide me the kind of burger I want.

finding a really good cider is tough. i mostly drink strongbow, or crispin.. woodchuck sucks. best cider i ever drank was made by me and some of my friends at home.

Friend just sent a pic from a recent night of serious consumption:

And that's at the beginning of the dinner. We had a 10 courser at Melisse (LA gaf might know of this marvelous place) with wine pairings and a couple of extra samplings from the sommelier + cocktails and a bottle of champagne. By midnight the entire table was covered in glasses like a miniature crystalline sea.

No serious ill effects the next day but apparently I texted my sister at 3 in the morning to say "I am a candid badger." I don't recall sending this at all. :p

Going out tonight with my coworker to inflict some more damage on my body, and I hope some of you guys are too. Godspeed, drunkgaf.

Once upon a time not too long ago....

So I have a shitty cold the entire week before the weekend. It's all good, I'm a fucking man. Right? So regardless, I'm in college and I'm going to go out on the weekend. And when I go out, I'm gonna go out for real. This weekend happened to be one of the bigger parties of the year. Frat was throwing a party at the best venue. If you go attuned to the club scene you'd understand the tightrope walk of having the perfect ration of dance-floor, bar service, and standing room; this place had it all in spades.

I start the night with my best friends. We get a bottle of 151, because we aren't bitches and we're upperclassmen who don't have time to pre-game the entire day before a party to get drunk. We have to get our intoxication in quickly. Also, someone had procured some weed that night. Now I've smoked probably all of 5 times in my life, but depending on my current circumstances (worry of random testing, or answer questions related to it), I'm always game. So I'm smoking, a rare occurrence, and I have a raspy ass throat because of the cold. Doesn't take long before I'm throwing up, just because of coughing. So all my friends are clowning me of course. So what do I choose to do? Drink all of them under the table.. through the use of Bacardi 151.

Coke and rum is good right? I heard it in a rap song. So I'm doing, no lie, nearly 2/3s coke to 1/3 151 in each drink (party cups). All my friends are all cross talking and giving each other shit for baby sitting drinks, but I'm taking it seriously: I have something to prove. I'm downing the things like they're koolaid, but it's not koolaid, it's brown death in a cup. But whatever, I'm in the superman zone, tipsy enough to talk to any girl in the world, but still not stumbling over myself, so I'm ready to get to the club.

So we all take separate cars, I ride with my friend, Jim. We wait in line for about 30 minutes to get in. Finally we get in, I make my rounds around the room.. spit some "I'm gonna get at you later, girl" bullshit, and then make my way to the bar. I sit down waiting for the bartender, but in that 10 minute span of time, I throw up. All on the floor, barely miss the bar. Owners comes up to me and is like, "Man, you gotta go." I had waited for the party all year, and I fucked it up. Felt so down. Then I remember something. Freshman year, my friend Jim did the exact same thing. Me and my other friend saw him escorted out the club and we went and checked on him, saw he wasn't dead and then went back in the club and had a good night. That said, I felt a need to tell my friend, "Give me the keys to the car,and you have a good time." Yet, my friend was like, "Nah man, let's just go." Take note, this party was crazy.. but he did that for me when I left him in his vomit a few years prior.

Feels bad man.

also, i am drinking. some guy in front of me at price chopper gave me 4 coors lights. he commented on my brown sugar and said he wanted a cookie i was gonna make, so i said i'd trade him some for beer. bam.
