Dual Sense Controller has over 2 million likes in just 2 hours on Instagram

Thank you for reminding me to binge Black Mirror again! One of the best shows going atm.

So this confirms my suspicions, after the delay of The Last Of Us 2 they are going full force with the PS5 marketing campaing, pretty sure we will see trailers of TLOU2 and even Ghost of Tsushima in their glorious 60 fps Ps5 form.

Expect lots of salt the next weeks.

I think that'd be awesome. I'm dying to see some true next gen gameplay from either console

Looks cool

Why'd they abandon Dual shock? What's a dual sense? Plz help I'm an xbox fanboy and haven't been paying attention

Edit: its HD rumble isnt it?

I like the size; haptics actually sound pretty awesome... but wondering how often they'll actually be used.

My guess is, the dualshock is for feeling the shock or big impacts or explosions in game, with the dualsense you can feel more subtle and more precise feedback from the game :messenger_ok:

Slowing getting closer to an xbone controller :messenger_winking:

Agreed. I can barely tell them apart. With XSX controller adding the share button from the Dual Shock 4, they look like identical twins. Except the XSX controller doesn't have the following:

+Touchpad
+Haptic feedback
+Speaker
+Create Button
+Light bar

Other than that, they're practically identical.

OP stop being a fanboy and be neutral. Let's take a look at Xbox's IG post.

This is a solid dunk. The DualSense reveal has already dwarfed the XsX controller reveal. No arguing that.

I can't just can't wrap my head around something tho, help me figure it out:

You gotta explain to me your war on neutrality. It's a common theme in your posting.

Is it really such a terrible concept, in your eyes, to enjoy both consoles? It seems like you only have one speed "All War All The Time." It's okay to like both consoles, bro. At least try it, you might like it.

Businesses have realized that Instagram likes mean jack shit on engagement or as an indicator of sales which is why the ad market there is drying up

we should realize the same thing

Have you ever used a steering wheel with force feedback in a racing sim?

It makes you feel every bump and rock in a realistic way, not just rumbling all over the place. It makes you literally feel a stone in the track by moving in a way more akin to a sound wave instead of just shake your hand.

Its a game changer if put in good developers hands, of course lazy cash grabbers like EA and Activision wont use it that much

after the initial honeymoon phase i think this may end up being another sixaxis. there are alot of weird seams like between the touch panel and the digital inputs. but also on the handles the white part is raised from the black part of the body so it will just have that abrupt raised transition and its only purpose is for aesthetics, controllers need to be function over form.

talkin bout shape bud

I don't love the shell look, but overall it's a nice looking controller. I appreciate that they did more with the iteration than Xbox. Still hate those close sticks with the soft rubber.

Probably touch pad raised because like their patent you can buy screen remove the pad and snap the screen in instead of the touchpad to do many UI related stuff from it.

Well it does look great and you know anticipation for the DS5 was up there....The camera is next hopefully, then VR.....Personally, I'm most interested in what the create button does......Have they fully implemented Sony Vegas into the OS and through capture? Time will tell......The OS features of PS5 will be off the chain...

Can't see the back, no idea if back buttons will be included?

I wonder if Sense implies some biometrics or just refers to the haptics.

Didn't read about it in the article either. I assume that they either don't exist or Sony is leaving it out so we can speculate on it.

Imagine if they tweet a picture of the underside showing the paddles/back button?

That's the power of the corona lockdown.

EVERYBODY is online!

yeah!

i was concerned about them fucking up the dpad and the buttons but those seem as good as every, they look almost like big Vita buttons.
Not a fan of the look tho and it looks eerie familiar to the DS4, the sticks look the same and the touch pad is still there.
i wonder whats new.
