I'll be honest, I think that 1080p/60fps is acceptable for a PC port, if not disappointing.
I would prefer unlocked framerate and any resolution but 1080p/60 is acceptable as a PC port. Not ideal, but acceptable as them putting in the effort to offer a good experience.
I'm sure he meant that as a joke, but how can he not be embarrassed by the fact that Platinum can't complete a task that a single person routinely does for fun in his spare time?
I think this is worth noting that a lot of people ignore.
The way Durante allows us higher resolutions is a bit of a hacky work around. It's great, and I absolutely think DSFix is incredible, but it is definitely not perfect, nor do I expect it to be.
For example, in Dark Souls, when using increased resolutions, the sun completely disappears. It's just gone, you can't see it. One of the main characters in the game is very much based around the sun and when you first meet him he's meant to be staring into it.
With DSFix, he's staring into clouds.
For nearly every customer that's completely acceptable because honestly, who cares, it's just the sun.
But for developers, that's probably not something they can just let slide. It's a pretty important character and his main component is sort of compromised .
Along with that, there's a lot of little things that are a bit buggy, but insubstantial like shadow resolution and water looking really weird.
Modders are allowed to do good enough work but people expect developers to ensure everythings perfect.
I 100% prefer the options DSfix affords us, just I can understand why a developer would rather stick with what they might consider "good enough" if it sticks to the vision they had in mind with the game as higher resolutions may break other things.
More importantly, that's 4 * 3 GB GDDR5 which is 12 GB GDDR5 or 50% more powerful than a PS4. Amazing.
Nope. It's 3GB. Sli needs to mirror the VRAM so you don't get to use all of it individually. They all act as one.
