Dying Light IOTI A dead island on the mirror's edge.

Is there multiple saves? If so, would it be possible to have one for singleplayer then have one for playing along with someone in multiplayer?

I saved 15 Survivors from Rais' Men, even shows that I have 15 in the Extra Personal Statistics screen, and no Trophy.
So I guess that's 3 that are glitched? All side quests, 15 survivors, and unlock all Safe Zones. How have they not fixed that in 3 patches?

I unlocked the Quarantine Zone Trophy having only done like... a few of them, as well. Not that I'm complaining about that one.

All Quarantines is also glitched it seems. (Edit: forum was so slow for me I didn't read your edit :p) And there are reports THIS IS HARAAAAAAN! may be too.

I got the trophies for Safe Houses and Quarantines, even though my statistics show me 0 for both.

I've read that the trophies for saving 15 survivors and "THIS IS HARAAAAAN" may simply require more completions (for example saving 18 survivors) and will eventually unlock.

There is 3 or 4 bugged ones
Someone posted them on techland forum and hopefully info is passed along to the Devs.

Teamed up with a nice chap earlier tonight and we played for a good hour. He gave me the Korek Machete but its broken. It says it has no repairs left so should I just dismantle it?

Also the blueprint for it I know the location of but is it possible to climb the building? I noticed in a walkthrough video the guy used a grappling hook to get up on top.

Grappling hook is not required, just makes things MUCH faster. You can use the strategy in this video to get the blueprint without it :)

Once you level up do you no longer need stamina? I was swinging away before and the bar wasn't showing up and I never got tired. I just remembered and I'm off now so I can't check it. Sorry if it's mentioned on the upgrades page, though it probably is.

Are there more interesting blueprints to find? Just adding one or two elemental properties is starting to get old.

Started reading the Walking Dead Compendium (graphic novel) right when I started this game. It was very accidental, and I almost never go for the zombie stuff. Quite a cool way to experience the game though, reading this separate story in a very similar setting. Great book too BTW.

Yes u can have multiple saves. Go to play campaign & start a new character. You have 3 slots I think. I know I have 2 characters. Continue just starts u with the last character u played with.

Edit:
I suck at combat, any tips?

Until u level up, wait til u see a zombie alone before u kill him. Pick and chose your spots. Oh and TURN AUTO AIM OFF. aim for the knee, they're easier to kill when downed.

But mostly avoid groups greater than 3 until u get some better shit

Not really. The crafting and upgrade systems are pretty basic and shallow.

Level 24 in Power makes it so you never run out of combat stamina.

I found a small green tube that takes me to a mario world with zombies dressed as Goombas. When you hit the ? Blocks you get food instead of coins lol. Is this common knowledge?

EDIT: Just saw a video of it, apparently there's a cool blueprint in there

I'm only a few hours in but I really love this game, it's easily one of favourites of recent memory. The only thing I don't like is having to repair my weapon every few kills.

More specifically, TURN MELEE AUTO AIM OFF. Someone gave the same advice in the early pages of this thread and it makes a world of difference. Slicing heads off is so much easier now.

Well, I finally ran into THOSE enemies.
The Screamers.

I was doing that weird mission with the
meteor reptilian gun
when I tried walking into a building, and heard crying, followed by giggling, followed by laughter. I NOPED the hell out of there, covered myself in zombie juice, and RAN back inside and swung at it, not noticing the action prompt.

For the first time in a long while, I was unnerved by a video game enemy. Bravo, Dying Light.

Okay, the Save 15 Survivors From Rais' Goons Trophy popped for me when I got the 16th one. The occurrence of those random events is still pretty rare.

I only need "Capture All Safe Zones" (which seems to be glitched, for me, I've finished the entire game and then some), "Find All Text Collectibles", and "Finish All Side Quests" (glitched, as well), for the Platinum now.

Speaking of guns, are they worth keeping or should I stick to actual weapons? I haven't even cut my first zombie head in half!, but loving the game. I don't think running and climbing hasn't been done better. Patch was nice and small too.

The Challenges that require you to "target" specific body parts are bullshit and luck-based. Turning off auto-aim barely helps.

Just finished the game and overall I loved it! I made sure to play through a lot of sidequests before doing the final mission. There were a few times I was actually scared when tons of zombies swarm your or you encounter some of the special ones. Some of the later game weapons are super powerful and feel really satisfying to use. Some things I didnt like though. The game became pretty easy once you get some of the 200+ weapons. Also camouflage and the grappling hook make surviving the night a breeze. Also the ending ...
Really thought a sequence of QTEs was a dumb way to make the final confrontation to happen. Would have been better to do some kind of battle like with the other humans of the game.

Overall I would say that it was probably the most fun zombie game I played.
Haven't played The Last of Us :p

If they had gone with a "real" confrontation, I would have just killed him in one hit, which would have actually been MORE lame than the QTE sequence

I would agree, it's definitely one of the least visually appealing PS4 games I own and the ugliest open-world game I've played this gen alongside with Shadow of Mordor. I would consider GTA V and Assassin's Creed: Unity to be the high-water mark for open-world graphics on consoles.

I'm enjoying the heck out of this game! The mediocre MC score is a little perplexing.

Also, I think the graphics are awesome (xb1).
