So Mike and a bunch of the guys were playing Halo 2 tonight and leguna happened to match against us. He targeted Mike in particular and the gauntlet was thrown. A duel was called for. And the best man won...

But this is okay because it directly relates to a game and lets you get deeper into the minds of our favorite JUDGE than ever before.
 
I don't understand why Leguna gloats so much, he's not even that good. Mike and I were on the same team and we pretty much beat them when the teams were even.

... Which was a complete bullshit by the way, since people had to sit out when they died so that there was an even number of people in that match at all times.

Yeah you're right, sorry. This is my first day playing Halo 2 on my Xbox without being limited on time so I wasn't aware of what's going on. I did play online a few days ago on someone else's Xbox but was only able to play a few games.

by the way, who were you on Live? Gamertag I mean.
 
How did one of my quotes get in there? It's a total non-sequitor.

I still want to play Halo 2 soooooo bad. I've "owned" it since launch, but I haven't been able to play it because it's at my house, and I'm in my apartment right now at college. I didn't get it sent up to me because I was afraid it would interrupt my finals and projects that were all going last week.
 
Leguna NEEDS to come to the next E3. I am going to film him playing fighters against forum folks and post the videos online for the joy of all. I'm not saying he will win or lose, but I want to capture some of the legendary trash talking on camera. :D

That was Mike's buddy that was playing alongside him. Since you can y'know, have other people online while you play! But I don't think you get ranked then.
 
Yeah, it's pretty typical for leguna to start bragging when the team he's on wins, even if he did nothing to really help in that victory.

leguna ALWAYS talks shit. He seems to think it's funny, and I can stand it when I'm at his house, but it was really pissing me off last night because he kept *yelling* into the microphone. TONE IT DOWN BUDDY. :)

leguna IS a decent Halo player. I'm not as good (I think CTF is my "specialty" so that's what I like the most) as some of the other people I usually play with. Last night, it was most of the typical crew all playing online. It was usually leguna, mann, Vito(guest), Alleyn(guest), and Storm on the same team. Vito and Alleyn are the best players in our little group BY FAR. They PWN leguna all the time, so he can talk all the shit he wants to, but we know it isn't true. :lol

I've been called the "shitty SF3 player" by leguna, yet when we went online in 3s, I was the one beating people, and leguna was the one losing. ;)

Anyway, I've told him before that he shouldn't be talking shit like that in online games, because if enough people complain about it, he could get banned from XBL. I didn't see the option to report bad players in Halo 2 though...isn't it usually under "players?"

I'm a huge trash talker when it comes to competitive games. I like to fuel my opponents with anger towards me so that they play as hard as possible. Winning these games feels that much better after trash talking and losing feels that much worse and that's what I love.

Most of my trash talking was directed towards Mike Works and rightfully so. Why? It was my first chance to get back at him for randomly banning me from this forum for absolutely no reason. I've seen his conversations with other members outside of this forum; he would say things like, "I want to fucking kill leguna." Mike Works has some serious issues to work out (no pun intended).

So yeah, my first chance to get back at Mike Works for all the shit he put through here, you bet I will!

IF ANYONE WANTS TO CHALLENGE ME IN DOA:U, SF3 or MY DREAM TEAM IN HALO2, TELL ME AND I WILL THROW MY MIGHT UPON YOU! My gamertag is the same: leguna

I'm not easily offended, it's just that i hate people that don't shut up. Your playing should be the thing that people remember most about you, not your mouth. And don't give me the "it enhances the experience" bullshit you just come off as annoying whether you win or lose.

edit: I actually enjoy a little trash talk when it's between two people, but if one person is just running their mouth it's fucking stupid.

It's obvious that you suck at Halo since you need your "dream team" to back you up. Head to head there would be no reason for you to talk smack :lol

actually playing with gaffers is a pretty enjoyable experience from the times i played.

i only talk shit when we play capture the flag and gaffers come into my base to take the flag and i kill them and il say some stupid shit to thier corpse.. hehe

or me and FMT will go back and forth cause he is a EA whore. :D

Just cause one GAFFER likes to trash talk doesnt mean they're all fuckwads. Actually most of us are pretty silent unless teamwork requires us to communicate
