Are you a developer? For gamers it was.

not sure...but he got Animal Crossing City FolkHero said:Who said Pikmin 3 would be shown? Kagari, right?
It feels less like an expansion of the market, and more like growth of a different market imo. Or, maybe just a return to the old NES market in a way; back when games were simple and everybody played, before 20 button controllers and long tutorials, while the other consoles are moving in a different direction.haunts said:All in all its good they are taking on this position. Ive always said that. Better Nintendo then Sony or something.. They are expanding the market with these types of games, and its only natural for a portion of that market to want to move onto a real hd gaming console at some point like the PS3.
I gave the Wii a chance and had high hopes, but I wasn't delusional after I played it. Knew right off the bat it was coming to this, but its not a bad thing guys! Relaaaax...
To be fair his City Folk thing was exactly corret even on the graphics front. It sucks, because that made me think Pikmin was gonna be thre though.Linkhero1 said:Yes and Kagari should be banned.

Only because Sega came along as created competition for a company that was making sure it was on top by any means necessary, and forced them to advance. If Nintendo had it their way they would of probably stuck with the NES for many more years than they did. Just look at the game boy: they had no strong competition so they pretty much stuck with the same technology for about a decade.djtiesto said:Whaaa? Nintendo at the top (the NES/SNES days) was the golden age of gaming...

But do it on your own time.
This is E3. This is our time.
Nintendo's been being dished by gamers far longer than that.perfectchaos007 said:Gamers destroyed Sony after E3 2006, and now gamers are looking to revolt against Nintendo in 2008. Nintendo will learn not fuck with the core gamer.

I've been saying for a while that I'm not sure if we can compare Wii sales to 360/PS3 sales directly, because they really are hitting on very different markets. This press conference solidifies that more than anything imo; GAF is calling it out as one of the worst ever, but you know this stuff is going to sell a billion copies.
VinZuku said:That's what really frustrates me about Nintendo. Casual gamers aren't watching this! My mom isn't calling me every two minutes going "are you seeing all the awesome shit Nintendo's puttin' out!" NO! Jeebus, throw me a fuckin' bone will you! I mean sure I'll be buying Resort but am I peeing my pants for it? No, I'm not. The next Call Of Duty game, on Wii? That's what I'm supposed to be excited about? Hello?! If I want it I'll get it for my 360 or PS3 where it'll actually look good (although, for a Wii game, I thought it looked pretty good). HELLO!!! Is anybody out there at Nintendo actually listening? What's-her-name asks Reggie "what about the hardcore gamer?" and Reggie's like "Animal Crossing!" Man o' Christ what planet am I on!
At least we can use USB keyboards. I'm sure that'll come in handy with Animal Crossing.celebi23 said:Still no storage solution?? WTF?? Why even HAVE USB ports on the damn thing?
So then where are they? Why didn't Nintendo show any of it? It's safe to assume that it's not that they don't have any... but then..?Neomoto said:No first party DS games at ALL
No WiiWare games at ALL, be it first party or 3rd party
No single core Wii game SHOWN, not to mention nothing announced
With SMB:Galaxies, SMK:Wii & SSB:Melee all releasing so close I was afraid Nintendo had blown their load early in... that may have been the case...schuelma said:Seriously, Wii's lineup for the rest of the year is complete shit. Shit. On a stick.
