Agreed 100%. Not only that, but it looked like the rest of Nintendo had moved on while Miyamoto was unwilling to give up his baby.

The Digital Direct did NOT focus on the gamepad. Their major success on the Wii U, MK8, does NOT use the Gamepad for anything of importance. Miyamoto is the last holdout, and judging by those demos he's really struggling with it.

Ah, that's a good point. In fact I can't wait for that game, that was one of the most pleasant surprises of their show. I loved the first one.
