Halfway through, just what I'd hoped for so far.

Hayes' reaction to Scott detailing Dracula or saying the word ghost, Sean's list of what to copy from this show, scarab beetle/junebug, Sean identifying the classic "but if you're-- I was over-- but then I'M--" comedy bit, Hayes reading the comics section. love love love this.

Just got through the whole thing. Fantastic stuff, the bit where they read the bedroom scene from the cbb movie had me in tears.

My head hurts from laughing so much at these script readings. Between everyone falling for each other with that music behind them to the misunderstandings about loving "jazz" to Hayes' creepy daughter thing. This is by far the most I've laughed at something in awhile.

The bug stuff keeps making me lol too.

"Call me Bug Lord."

Don't know about you all but I'm voting for them to stick around.

Cracked up hard at this. The Cody/Hayley thing too. ANYONE BUT HIM

Excellent CBB episode, Sean and Hayes did not disappoint and I was so glad they were in full HH mode. Hayes' direction of the sex scene and Sean's final request absolutely destroyed me. Plus, Scott was way into the Hollywood Handbook craziness, filling his role with complete enthusiasm. Possibly my favorite CBB of the year.

I wish Sean and Hayes could become CBB regulars. They really play off Scott well. In a world where the CBB TV show becomes so huge that Scott doesn't have the time to do CBB, he should be replaced by Sean and Hayes.

Had never heard of Hayley before, looks like she's in Review season 2. Just from this grep I could see her working really well as another Daly foil.

I can't decide how much to donate to the Old Towne Playhouse.

Is there a good way to determine the success of a podcast? It seems like HH has gotten a good boost in the iTunes Charts from this episode since my Podcast app shows that it is the 10th ranked Comedy podcast (which I imagine is most likely due to it getting a sudden boost but it is nice to see).

Kind of bad timing since the newest episode starts with 10 minutes of ads featuring a character they established a month ago. :p

Yeah I really think the best way to start with Hollywood handbook is just to start with the beginning. There are so many inside jokes that you'd probably be lost if you jumped in now.

Heh, that is a great point. Last week's episode has a real hard outer shell for newcomers but the Kroll middle is soooo sweet. It sounds like this week's HH is a best of episode, which is boring for returning listeners but pretty good for newcomers.

Was watching Silicon Valley, came across CBB for first time in a while, saw the Silicon Valley episode, and decided to listen to it.

I'm now done with the 6th Anniversary and the one question I have is how did I not know Thomas Middleditch was so fucking funny? He is incredible.

I'm loving this best of episode. So many good moments that I had forgotten about.

"Hayes, I'm really going through something here, engineer Brett is roasting you"

Is Yo, Is This Racist? good?

I don't think so. I used to think it was because the host laughs in a very annoying manner at the top of each show but the discussions never reveal anything very interesting. I'm sure it matters on the guest but at this point the host never saying anything or helps the guests flourish in a discussion. If a great question comes up I will listen but I am reminded how the show never goes anywhere.

I would love a "best of ripping on the engineer," collection from them. Actually, CBB does it too. Best of engineer/intern insults could be a 3-parter if you went through all Earwolf shows about those impotent geeks.

Forgot about the NeoGAF thread. I'm "Blink" on the Earwolf forums, so I'm the HH poster that got the "hair jizz" popcorn gallery response a few weeks ago and the pro version last week.

Their CBB episode was much better than I was expecting, and had the in-jokes I crave.

I did this last month. It took me a long time, I probably missed a lot, and I fell behind on a lot of podcasts, but I do not regret it in the slightest.

The best episodes are when the guests don't get it (though, surprisingly, Sinbad really got it).

That was hilarious! That episode is one of the best ones they've done. Congrats on the pro version, btw.

HH best of is so great. I've heard the Home Mart thing so many times now and it just gets better. I'd forgotten how good Novak was too, The Amazing Spiderman and the Case of the Music Box Hostage Crisis is hysterical.

random CBB thought: I wonder if, because of Ballers, it's feasible that Corddry will come on and bring along The Rock. would be cool/so odd.

AND OUT OF HIS HAND COMES A FRIGGIN WEB

I laugh at that every time.

I just found out Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust are the leads in an upcoming Netflix show called Love. That's enough to get me excited!

Is he in it for more than his segment near the beginning when he plays Klaus Schmidt? I stopped listening soon after that, but might revisit the episode if he returns. Truly a surprisingly hilarious guy.

He was also on #342 -- http://www.earwolf.com/episode/a-silicon-valley-p-cast/.

The part when they call up China -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ8cvPQXth4&feature=youtu.be -- kills me every time.

edit: Oh, you meant in that ep. No, that's his only time in that episode. Shame he couldn't stick around for entire thing.

Hey guys just got back from my ban today, I've missed an amazing month of podca-
Literally the worst episode of CBB ever. I should have listened to my gut and deleted that crap after 10 minutes.

...keep your disgusting opinions to yourself!

I'm so glad that this thread (outside of vert and a few others) love HH. I feel like a proud father.

I tried a few HH episodes, but could never get into it. It has such a bizarre rhythm. But I did like their comedy bang bang episode, so I thought I'd give HH another shot and the episode I listened to just happened to be the best of episode, which was really good. I guess I'll keep listening for a while.
