Today's group of guests on CBB doesn't look great. Anyone had a listen yet? Nick Swardson especially is putting me off.

The moment I was sold on HH forever was their 15 under 15 list of top 15 celebrities under the age of 15. Their top choice being Bart Simpson, due to "you can't go out and get a sandwich these days without seeing someone do the Bartman."

I'm half-way through and it's not a good ep. Swardson is pretty bad and Adomian's Bernie Sanders is mildly amusing, but not mean-spirited enough to be funny.

Not keeping official count but I'm 15 minutes in and counted at least 3 poop jokes and 2 dick jokes. I'd turn it off if it was anything but CBB.

As someone who was so heavily influenced by watching Dave as a kid when my parents put him on for 10 minutes every other New Year's Eve, I think this week's Hollywood Handbook is just a perfect and my favorite tribute to him. Really getting to the heart of what makes Dave so influential, epecially now that he has ascended directly into heaven.

Also, excellent surprise guests on the show, who really gave another excellent insight into Dave.

So I recently started getting into podcasts again and I've heard enough about CBB being great that I want to check it out. Any good, recent episodes you guys would recommend?

6th anniversary episode is among the best in years, if you don't like it then you'll know it's not the show for you.

Hollywood Handbook is great too, and they just released a best of episode last week so make sure to give that a shot.

Spontaneanation this week was amazing. The
Nick Nolte
bits were KILLING me. Usually not a fan of improv, but I enjoy this podcast a lot.

That was so satisfying in I4H when they said they how people who casually dismiss Saturday Night Live were idiots and it's a display of being fully unaware of comedy.

To those who watched this week's CBB:
was the aggressive, urgent knocking on the door
not one of the funniest things that has ever happened on this podcast? I laughed a lot.

EDIT: Oops, that wasn't from this week's episode, actually. March 30, 2015: Thomas Middleditch, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Paul F. Tompkins.

That whole episode is gold. I know it has been said here before, but Middleditch kills it on this episode.

Also, in honor of the Entourage movie, I wanted to post this clip, which may be my single favorite CBB moment ever:

Yeah that ep is incredible. Might relisten to that one.

I'd kinda gone off Spontaneanation, but this week's ep. Holy shit, amazing.

But yeah, CBB was garbage this week. I want this solo bolo to salvage it. I still sing solo bolo to the Mario underground theme.

I don't know why I wrote "watched" instead of "listened," but yeah, I'm sure you all got my point. Great episode.

I am also looking forward to more UTU2TM. The next episode will be the one focusing on Scott and Scott attending one of the U2 concerts, I think. I'm not sure if the band's tour is already underway.

I don't really understand why but it feels like Reggie Watts has 0 chemistry with Scott.

I agree. It kind of seems like Reggie doesn't enjoy doing the podcast.

it's kinda long seemed to me like Reggie doesn't enjoy doing...anything? Anything except his precise act. I mean he never really phoned it in on CBBTV, yet he's never appeared very enthusiastic about the show.

Reggie is always pretty terrible on the podcast. Like that episode with Tears for Fears he was really awkward and making really terrible jokes.

He's really funny on the TV show though, so maybe he's just bad in the format. Never seen any of his stand-up stuff.

First time listening and found it fantastic. I highly suggest everyone check it out, why wouldn't you, have you seen the line-up? But if you don't know what Johnny's Bananas here is a primer.

On the show Entourage on HBO there is a show within a show that start the character Johnny Drama. That is the animated show Johhny's Bananas.

Maybe this is all common knowledge but I had now clue and had to pause the episode 20 minutes in to look it up. Anyway, it's hilarious and worth checking out. The podcast, I can't speak to Johnny's Bananas or Entourage.

Solo Bolo was really fantastic. It's nice when Scott gets a chance to let loose and be funny instead of being The Host.

All joking a salad, I could probably listen to Benny Schwa & Scotty Auks sing medleys for hours. That was a delightfully fun episode. Hope we get solo eps with PFT (Solo Polo) & Manzoukas (Brodown Hoedown) one day.

Also Scott wanting Ben to make a funny headline for Pentagon attack was probably my highlight of the episode.

That and the bit about Scott turning 10 and wanting a wife really got me. It was a great episode- Ben might be in my top 5 favorite guests on CBB.

Anyone listening to Whomp it up? It's been pretty good. It's obviously a lot of those characters, but they're always somewhat funny.
