I can't listen to them sing anymore, so I skip any episode with Ben Schwartz.

Heh they talk specifically in Trolo about knowing some people have this reaction to Solo Bolos and how they do not give a shit

I get it, the singing does go on for a long time, but that's exactly why I enjoy them. they're silly hangout eps.

I just popped it on the other day on Netflix to get a flavor for it and I can tell its gonna be a great movie.

Meanwhile, I've been slogging through Furious 7. Its just so terrible. I keep watching it in 20 minute chunks and I can barely take it. I've watched almost all the HDTGM movies to be able to listen each episode and this is one of the toughest ones so far. I liked Safe Haven more than this! Cheesy action movies are my favorite kinds of movies but I guess not when it involves unlikable numbskulls in cars. At least I get to stare at Missandei. *drool*

The new Hollywood Handbook is a doozy. Taking a trip to the Teaser Freezer is always appreciated, and Kulap was great. She really understood the show and played along with their bits well. The part where Sean asks her to
name people on her TV show and describe why they're funnier then him
is so good. HH is on another freaking roll, the Deadpool ep last week was an instant classic and this one is just as good.

l o l at handbook this week, great teaser outside-the-freezer with kevin chopsner. the complaints about not being invited to Ronna & Bev and Spont were the best. Give Janet Varney a break!

I think I may call it quits to CBB, I'm just not enjoying it as much as I used to.

I pretty much only listen to the best ofs and the episodes that are raved about in this thread at this point. I don't have enough time in my week to fit in a podcast that can vary wildly in quality from week to week

Wolfpop shows are moving to Earwolf:
Hi folks,

This morning, the list of shows on Earwolf.com got a little bit--ok, a lot--longer. That’s because we’re bringing 11 more programs to the network — 10 Wolfpop shows, plus Hello From the Magic Tavern, are joining Earwolf today. Today, we also sunset the Wolfpop brand.

Great comedy programming has been the foundation of Earwolf’s success, and we’ll continue to invest in comedy even as we grow to include entertaining projects in other genres. This change is a way for us to make Earwolf a bigger, better and more inclusive network.

Here’s some more detail about what we’re doing:

-We’re really proud of the shows we launched under the Wolfpop banner in 2014, and we want them to continue to grow and find new listeners. That means bringing them under the same successful umbrella as some of your favorite shows including Comedy Bang! Bang!, How Did This Get Made?, With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus and The Longest Shortest Time.

-The Black List Table Reads, The Canon, Crybabies, Denzel Washington is the Greatest Actor of All Time Period, Get Up On This, Happy Sad Confused, I Was There Too, Maltin on Movies, OMFG! and Reading Aloud have all joined Earwolf.

-Rotten Tomatoes, Picking Favorites, and Off Camera have other great plans in store and we wish them all the best.

-Since the Wolfpop shows now have a new home on Earwolf.com, the forums have a new home too! As always, you can comment on existing episode threads, or start new discussions of your own. You may notice that comments from Wolfpop.com didn't make it over here. We will try our best to get them in, but if not, we’ll certainly let you know. If you are a Wolfpop commenter who has never used the Earwolf forums and need some help, please contact Shannon or Dan Engler and they will help you get started!

There are more great shows on the horizon for Earwolf: next up, the March 15 premiere of Chris Gethard’s Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People. So stay tuned for more, and thank you for your continued support of all things Earwolf! It means the world to the performers and staff.

Wolfpop shows are moving to Earwolf:

Seems like a good change. Basically means Earwolf will no longer be trying to just be comedy stuff and instead will have a wider variety of shows. Hopefully some of the good podcasts on Wolfpop gets some more exposure through Earwolf.

The real question is what this means for Wolfcool and Calvin & Hobbes Productions?

I've actually been meaning to check out Hello from the Magic Tavern for ages now, the AV club raved about it a while back. Guess I'll give it a go soon.

Glad to see a CBB episode that has me excited to listen to for once. Slow year. Don't know if last year can be topped though.

CBB with Middleditch and Lapkus was pretty good.

Who else has burned out on certain Earwolf podcasts? I dropped Who Charted mid last year, probably a few months before they apparently dripped Twooch. I've stopped downloading episodes of With Special Guest, and I haven't listened to any Spontaneanation lately.

Maybe it's just temporary because I'm currently listening to a lot more music, but I definitely feel weird not being a Chartist after having been one since nearly the beginning.

The only one I listen to every week is CBB. I'll listen to Pardo when he has a good guest like Scott Auckerman, Andy Daly or Jen Kirkman.

I used to listen to them all but Serial got me hooked on true crime podcasts. Who Charted, HDTGM, HH, I4H got replaced with Last Podcast on the Left, Generation Why, Sword & Scale, History Dweebs, etc.

Besides CBB, the only Earwolf Podcasts I will NEVER burn out on and will listen to over and over until the day I die are U Talkin' U2 2 Me and the Travel Bug episode of the Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project.

This is great news for my friends and hosts of the OMFG! podcast. Their show might not be for the normal demo of NeoGAF but it's pretty funny/ I was on an episode a year ago. A buddy of mine was also on an episode just recently with Casey Wilson which was pretty great.

If you want to check out an episode of their show OMFG! I would say the most recent one about tech with Casey was a great start.

Started listening to HFTMT because of the press release. This is way funnier than it has any right to be!

Kinda wants me to have Arnie and the crew to drop by Saucerman for a crossover.

I haven't listened to HH this week because I'm saving it for when I really need a laugh. Scharpling being a reoccurring guest might be my all time favorite podcast saga.

Yeah this is a top 5 all-time handbook episode which means it's a top 10-15 episode of any podcast ever. hopping around it now relistening to parts and I'm dying
"Can you zip me up? That's nice." "Does your bathing suit have a zipper?" "In the back yeah." "How far down your leg does it go?" "Well there's a slit up the side that ends right at my hip bone." "You're sure that's not an evening gown? Does it have straps that go over your shoulder?" "They criss-cross over the back, yeah...I'm having them run a tub for me to get in and see how it moves."
It's really amazing.
He did that? For my sins?!?!?
Yaiko maiko that's awful generous

How the fuck can Scott advertise Jemaine Clement's podcast on Howl? It's just a sneak peek thing and hasn't been updated since August.

HH was awesome this week. Sean finding religion was an hilarious moment.

The only must listen podcasts for me are HH and Doughboys. HH is the best thing in Earwolf now. As a lover of chain restaurants, Doughboys is basically made for me. Plus their Munch Madness tournament has been insanely funny.

Started listening to OMFG. Deanna and June are essentially the same person. Actually Deanna reminds me of mostly June with some Jessica St. Clair in there.
