"Yeah Woody Allen... if you think of him as a man he looks old, but if you think of him as a praying mantis he almost look like a baby"

I am dead.

Was a little weirded out when I saw that Amber Rose was on NNF but it was a great episode. She's more down to earth than I thought and got along really well with the guys. Jimmy interacting with her entourage was also very funny.

Amber Rose is one of those people you think is going to be obnoxious but whenever I've heard podcasts/interviews with her she always comes across as really nice and charming.

Loving me some solo Sean Clements on this week's CBB, he plays off Scott really well. C+ ep overall, aside from maybe the first few minutes of Chris Tallman's Nick Nolte voice.

I've been slowly working my way through the Doughboys podcast and I'm really enjoying it. It can be very funny but what's surprising to me is how entertaining it can be to hear them talk about chain restaurants even when they are not doing bits. Mitch and Nick just have such good chemistry together.

On a side note, this week had one of the silliest Hollywood Handbook's they've ever done and it had me bussin' up throughout. The whole premise is so dumb but they pull it off incredibly well.

doughboys does absolutely nothing for me, it feels like a hollywood handbook show without the comedic talent.

The shows have like nothing in common so that's a weird comparison. Ultra-ironic show where everything's a joke vs show that's seriously talking about a topic with some laughs sprinkled throughout.

not the subject or their style of humor, just the small show feel with crazy rabid fans. i just don't find them funny or interesting.

Oh now I get you. As much as I'm enjoying Doughboys I definitely don't get the rabid fandom that surrounds it in the same way I do Hollywood Handbook, and I can definitely see how you could find it a little boring.

Doughboys x Lauren Lapkus were a great combo on both of their shows.

I'm always secretly hoping Nick will work in a rendition of "Monster Fuck" anytime he's on an Earwolf podcast.

Not 100% Earwolf related, but I just started watching Steven Universe (well 15 episodes today so far), and I love Tom Scharpling as his dad. Recognised that voice instantly from HH. I still don't even know if I like this show, but I can't stop watching. I'm pretty sure I like it though. I just have to block out anything people on the internet are saying about it.

I know this has nothing to do with Earwolf, but so excited Gilmore Guys is coming to Nashville. None of the podcasts I care about come here.

Scott announced Comedy Bang Bang! The TV Show is ending after its 5th season. I know a lot of podcast listeners aren't the biggest fans of the show but man, I've loved every minute of it. Definitely going to miss it :( They had a great run though, over 100 episodes of an insanely weird, niche show is some achievement.

Anybody listen to Katie Couric's new show on Earwolf?
Its pretty good. Like it because its about politics but the hosts do not take a hard stance either way.

Wiger referenced gaf on Doughboys today, to the bewilderment of Mitch and Beck Bennett

It's been consistently pleasant for the whole run. I'm content with it leaving after 110 eps—it hasn't gone stale yet or anything which is a miracle, so calling it now is wise. Though I wonder how much of the decision was Scott's. my guess is not a lot, he's always seemed like he'd be happy continuing the show for ages.
