I get their reactions. Found it somewhat funny at first but then it quickly wore thin. Then it just went full on bizarre.
I appreciate the attempt, I guess.

I mean, the irony of saying that when there's Kyle Bosman with his irritating 5-minute long bits...
Like I said in the other thread, it felt like Giant Bomb E3 2015 levels of cynicism.
People getting butt hurt over EZA not liking Devolver's humor is more entertaining than their "conference".

I mean it's their job to cover this stuff. I'd be annoyed too. No ones forcing you to watch Bosman's bits wtf?
Yeah, them getting increasingly indignant just made the whole thing funnier. Dudes had no chill whatsoever lol. I bet being tired increased their grump factor too.them getting butthurt was part of the comedy imo
Wtf what? Talking about "time being wasted" and "dragging things on" when much of their humor is the same thing is ironic, simple as that. Bosman can do whatever he wants, it just makes his critiques cheap.
The whole thing seemed to be about deflating Hype and Huber is Hype. You can perceive is as an attack on what fuels his head spaceI don't get how they were dismissive though?
They gave it a chance, watched it, laughed at some bits, then turned it off when it was over.
Yeah, Huber said he didn't think it was funny, maybe because he didn't think it was funny?

I'm surprised they are watching the PC gaming show, since that's barely a conference.
Although it has gotten better from it's first ever showing.
I'm curious about what the overlap is of people calling them cynical for not liking the conference or finding it funny and the folks that call Giant Bomb cynical for not reacting with the enthusiasm that EZA does.
My final thoughts on the matter: It was fine they didn't find it funny, but the nearly aggressive and overly dismissive tone they had was a bit too much for what was being shown. Almost seemed like they found it offensive, which wasn't warranted. Chill dudes.

They were talking over it, discussing unrelated games... It was pretty disrespectful.
How in gods name could you think that please explain how that "conference" was on par with Microsoft.
Devolver disrespected their time. They don't deserve respect in turn. There were actual games from Bethesda's conference to talk about. They could have talked about Anthem over Devolver's skit and it would have been fine. They were talking over it, discussing unrelated games... It was pretty disrespectful.
I say this as a person that didn't find the show remotely entertaining, by the way.

To whom????They were talking over it, discussing unrelated games... It was pretty disrespectful.

Nonsense. They were trying their best to pay attention. It made most of them feel awkward to watch and they were barely showing games.
Disrespectful? Please, the entire point of that was to troll gaming journalists whose job it is to cover these events. They don't owe it "respect." They thought it was dumb, unfunny and awkward.
To whom????
What are you specifically talking about?
The same? The same? No it's not, or i wouldn't watch it, many people wouldn't.
I disagree. I think the professional thing to do is watch the entire conference, without talking over it (or just ignoring it). I just don't think they handled themselves well in this instance. It's not a big deal or anything, I am not boycotting EZA... That is just how I feel about it. Sorry you disagree, but I am not sure what I can do about that.
There was no conference. There was nothing to watch. They were quiet and analyzed the one game trailer. What are they supposed to do? Sit in silence as this unfunny joke overstays its welcome? Who cares. Yes, let's talk about Evil Within 2.I disagree. I think the professional thing to do is watch the entire conference, without talking over it (or just ignoring it). To Devlover, who made a bad joke, but put effort into it. To the fans that were enjoying it, and wanted the EZA take on it.
Once again, I don't think it was a big deal, I just think they could have handled it a little better.

The two most prominent "jokers" of EZA are Damiani and Bosman. The two of them build basically their entire repertoire of comedy on trolling and drawn-out bits.
Frankly, their reaction to the conference is entirely fine, and I didn't like it either. But to see them get so worked up and indignant about it is hilarious considering.
....much of E3 in the past decade has been a waste of time and you try to insert that? Christ, no wonder Devolver did it this way. What was there to watch? A joke that started kind of funny and then two minutes later stopped being funny and went on for longer than it should have. It wasnt worth their time, effort or respect.
I can't say I agree. They led everyone to believe they would actually be showing off games. They showed like two. The rest was Devolver making a joke by becoming the joke. They were lampooning E3 conferences wasting everyone's time....By wasting everyone's time.
"The EZA take on it" was that it was bad, and not funny, and not worth discussing or really acknowledging. Not sure what else they were supposed to do except pretend to like something none of them liked.

What surrealist, antihumor, has Bosman done that was remotely Eric Andre-esque? Or even Ian-esque? (since he's the one that does Easy Update...)

I hope Sony and Nintendo really bring the heat because, with the exception of a handful of games MS showed off, this E3 has been pretty underwhelming
