All streams need to be archived to something other than Twitch, preferably Youtube.

I don't ask for them all to be on the premiere channel, but that is preferred so people don't need to check two subs like back in the GT days.

Personally, I have a hard line-in-the-sand stance on this. IMO, anything less than 100% archiving just speaks to a lack of care towards people like me who live in places where Twitch servers suck. I'm more than willing to respond in kind by speaking with my wallet and taking my money elsewhere.

It sounds harsh, but there it is. A lot of my sentiment comes from the fact that I've done livestreams and shows in the past and know how easy it is to get stuff onto Youtube - especially compared to what it used to be. If in-uni-with-a-DSL-connection-me could figure it out, these guys very well can. Heck, the turnaround time on the Toybox Tuesdays stream was indicative of capability they are simply not employing for their other streams this week for no reason other than what appears to be disorganisation and a lack of planning.

Again, I don't mean to be harsh - I love these guys, I just want to put my reasoning out there.

(Also, I'm not specifically directing this at you Man is Obsolete, just shouting into the wind hoping I get heard by the powers that be).
Send them a direct message via the patreon page. Then wait and see what they do.

They appear to already be hearing peeps like me and are already looking to get things up on youtube (going off their discussion on Blood's stream today).

If it takes much longer for them to get organised, though, I will definitely start sending DMs etc.

Their mailbox is swamped at the moment (especially since I think they're replying to every single one of them - since they did to the one I sent), and I'd rather vent here than add to that.

EDIT: Also, as others can attest, livestreamer is great, but nowhere near as good as local archives > uploading or even the built in twitch tool (if you don't plan on editing before the upload). Again, Brandon's already shown they know HOW to do it, they just need to figure out their process.

Yes, sure, no problem. The more that can see this the better.
The playthrough is amazing.

I have Kyle's Dumb Game Monday Lost Via Domus streams as well in case it's not uploaded yet.
edit: I have X-Men Destiny as well and Huber's Order 1886 full playthrough.
Don't have/haven't seen any of those on YT. Would be very cool if you could share those as well.

I'm looking for a way to get introduced to these guys so I'd appreciate it if you were able to do that.
If you're looking for streams as an introduction, I basically have all of their streams up from November 12, 2015 to Feb 8, 2016 (the end of GT) on my channel in case you're interested. Anything that's not on my channel from that period made it onto the official GT channels.

but honestly, my favorite stuff by them (streaming wise) was the live streaming of the conferences. Here's the playlist link. The Sony E3 2015 conference is without a doubt the most loved one.

I think it would help if the streams themselves had a proper intro and sign off and then that would make it easier to put on YT as a Quick Look like video. Much like Brandon's Toy Box, this would happen more organically if some of the streams themselves were regular segments that could be put into a playlist on YT. The challenge is what to do with the streams where they just play whatever for hours, because that can fill a YT channel quick and maybe those looser shows can be archived on a second YT channel, for archival sake.

Edit: And I know the EZA guys read this stuff, so this is not sound nitpicky or hyper critical. Myself and I am sure others are just giving feedback and really want long term success for you all.

Farisr had been archiving their content that the GT YT channel was missing for months before they shut down:

I had some of the lost Full playthroughs other GAF members had saved off. I threw them on YT so i could watch them easier and also help others do the same. Most notably the often talked about Ben Moore RE3 stream

Here is a channel with some lost monopoly streams, PT, etc

Yeah, obviously that's the headline conference stream and it's SO GOOD, but they even make conferences that aren't as good that much better. 2 great examples:

Just realised with these guys back, I'm going to have to book off time for E3.

Regarding streams, my opinion.

1. Have a separate channel. It would be nice to have everything in one centralized location, but I understand that you don't want your main channel to get bogged down with streams, some of which there are 3 a day.

2. For the streams have an intro or something. Make them look at least a little nice.

3. Pepper in some banners during the archived stream, advertising the Patreon, and other social links.

Oh yeah, definitely. You wouldn't believe how much of a nosedive my hype took for this year's E3/conferences as soon as the news of GT's cancellation came out. And I mean, I've been watching these conferences vanilla for years, but just one year with these guys streaming them made each one so fun to watch that I just couldn't imagine not being able to watch them this way.

mate, i feel your pain. i'm the heart of sydney. i know we have fairly shit tier internet as it is. but there is definitely something wrong with twitch. i've tested multiple connections and twitch is just straight up fucked on anything more than medium. medium if you are lucky. mostly low. youtube on the other hand i can do 720p no problems.

I wholly support this idea. With only one of them full time on EZA at the moment, it might take some time to set it all up and have a reliable and fast turn around time on the streams to you tube, but I think your framework would be really good for all parties involved once all up and running.

Dude, no doubt. I'm in Defence, so have been posted in small country towns, Melbourne, Adelaide, Syd and currently I'm in Canberra.

Everyone's got it bad. It's straight up a Twitch thing.

Lol nice. Now we just need to assign each member an arcana.

Challenge Accepted!

Person and who they remind me of! (no negative connotations intended)
Ben: Justice
Ken
Blood: Fortune
Takaya Sakaki- seriously look him up
Brad: Magician
Yosuke
Brandon: Fool
The MC! Binds the rest!
Damiani: Strength
Daisuke
Don: Hierophant
Dojima
Huber: Star
Teddy
Ian: Emperor
Kanji
Kyle: Hermit
Mysterious Fox

That was actually pretty hard as I tried to not double up arcana and ended up drawing from P3 in addition to P4...

LOL
This really was a great E3

Got all my info and entertainment from these guys.

From Huber's Shenmue 3 tears, Kyle standing on chairs, to Ben v. Brandon: Dawn of No Man's Sky.

First time I really saw everybody's personalities, since I mainly watched Final Bosman.

After E3 I wanted more of everyone, but then Elyse left, and then GT got shut down.

Great to have you guys back.

Now if only we could get a few special
ElyseWilliamsMattBlair
guests to visit from time to time.

Honestly as amazing as that was and I love them for it, my favorite part was the next day during the SE presser when Kyle finally realizes the joke in the title for South Park: The Fractured But Whole and he was the only one who hadn't gotten it yet

Leave them time to figure things out man... This has nothing to do with an individual streaming games. This is more like a new corporation.

People want things to go on a speed it's not even posible knowing how the situation has turn up.
At first they were just going to stream things and do some podcasts, so that was going to be the priority. But now they have like 4 shows (besides bosman one) to produce.
It's not like they don't want to upload things to youtube, but they need to discuss and figure out how to do it. Right now main channel implies a different purpose from the one they thought at the beginning.

Let them see what will benefit them most. Whether they upload streams to the main channel, they put them on a second channel or they highlight some stream parts in the main channel while put the complete archive on a secondary one.

It's like the guy that said a few pages before "I thought they'll have some prerecorded shows already". Just chill guys, production and scheduling of audiovisual content takes more time than just record yourself speaking about things. Brandon said yesterday they were on preproduction, so right now they're ending collecting material structuring all the shows that are to come (He even mentioned he'll announce Tuesday on his patreon exclusive show what's going to be the first retrospective iirc).

Again, just 4 days has passed since they were unemployed and uncertain how this project was gonna turn up. Don't put them the pressure already to rush things out.

Does anyone know when the podcast will be uploaded to iTunes? I have been looking to subscribe easy allies but there's nothing there when I search.

Unbelievable.

I thought Patreon had a no-porn policy? That's what one of the founders was saying on KindaFunny's GDC stream I think
