Here's all the other games that have scored a perfect 10 in the past five years from EDGE magazine:

• Astro Bot
• Baldur's Gate 3
• The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
• Immortality
• Elden Ring

I've said it many times, EDGE/Next Generation was the definitive gaming publication, the gap in quality between them and the others was baffling (aside from that DOOM review) I strongly recommend you guys to read some of the early issues especially if your're into retro gaming, shame this era is gone now, they were so good in fact it's no wonder they got woke since they were already sniffing they own farts...

Damn I guess I really need to play this game huh?
I don't care that much for turn based JRPG's, not really since PS1 days.

But this one is different. It IS turned based, but it's also not. Apparently you can have an entire game and never get hit by an enemy during battle. Using dodge/parry. Beautiful mix of the combat, but also the story is highly engaging. The entire premise is awesome.

How did Edge go woke?

2/5 I've played. 2/5 are definitely no 10.

Clair Obscur however deserves every praise they can get. AAAA bots are already flaming on it anyway…

Lost Records a 7 is embarassing for the Edge magazine. That game is a digrace to the legacy Dontnod has built with the first LiS.

Not that I care much about Edge, but It's nice seeing E33 getting a rare 10 from them.
Absolutely fantastic game.

If nothing else, something *REAL* fucking special will need to come out between now and November for Exp 33 to not win the Music awards, at the very least.
yep, as right now these are my predictions for Goty this year.

Goty : E33
Best Game Direction: E33
Best Narrative: E33
Best Art direction : E33 / Elden Ring Nightreign
Best Music : E33 and i dont think nothing ll beat they at this.
Best Performance: Andy Serks as Renoir
Best RPG: E33 lol

they ll be at least nominated for those categories for sure.

I believe that E33 is a great game but remember: this people gave a 4/10 to Zone of the Enders 2 when they still had street rep.
I bought Zone of the Enders at launch on PS2.. one reason and one reason only

It had the exclusive MGS2 demo

I was NOT disappointed, that demo was beefy and I spent dozens of hours doing any and everything in it

The only game which could threaten it in those categories is Death Stranding 2 I'd say (although in truth KCD2 should be a strong competitor in Best Game Direction and Best Narrative imho)

geez i even forgot about KCD but for sure they ll be 110% nominated on these categories, i dont think DS2 ll be that huge, first game was pretty nich, but one thing is certain, gaming media ll make a lot of noise in favor of DS2 cause Kojima.

Dont think the game is a 10, but its awesome regardles and Im happy for the team

Edge loves indies/underdogs, so its no surprise that they would give it a great score.

I still have 1-100 on the shelf. Awesome read back in the day and most reviews where spot on.

for once this Edge 10/10 is fully warranted even if, like myself, you dont like turn based/jrpgs/rhythm games e33 is still a masterpiece.

French, British, Belgian, Japanese. Seems like it to me.
I told you to get a map. Spelled out for you: France is next to Belgium, Britain is not far off, they"re even connected directly by train...the others are Japanese. Is that "all over the world"? Get a map, Columbus.
