It should really be called the Top 100 Producers or Top 100 Names, but Top 100 DJs is short and easy to read and remember, even though half the people on the list can't DJ for shit.
On a cooler note, Tiesto is slowly returning to trance! (cross posting from trance thread)

lemme know wat you thinks
I saw Hardwell at some really shitty small club for like $15 years ago, cool to see him where he is now.For the ones who care, the DJ Mag Top 100 is revealed, the "best" dj is Hardwell.
Hardwell becomes youngest ever recipient of DJ Mag Top 100 spot,
This. Fucking awful, awful performer and I've been to almost 20 shows, he's garbage compared to other artists, he just needs to keep it in the studio. The fact that Avicii is #3 is hilarious. He is easily the worst big-name DJ I have ever seen live.
I just realized Daft Punk is #22 on the DJMag list.
I don't need to explain what's wrong with that.
I'm going to a Liquid DnB event tomorrow. Not really familiar with the genre but listened to a few songs and it's chill as hell. I like it.
Submorphics - Work It Out
This song has a very Krewella feeling about the vocals. Still not sure whether I like it or not haha.
Night one of Freaknight was a great success. Benny Benassi, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, and New World Punx all destroyed. God damn.
Was that in Amsterdam and are you Dutch?
Yeah, I didn't went but I saw quite some people on my Facebook going and I am not hearing that often about liquid DnB events, hence the question. No it was in NY actually. Was there a liquid DnB event in Amsterdam yesterday?
They were good too. We got there right when they went on though so we were still feeling out the place while they were on.no W&W?
God. I seriously miss this single moment. This one right here. This was just so, so, SO good.

Do you know who's trap remix that is or is it Zedd's own remix? I loved it at 2:33!
Edit: zbeeb...that's not the remix he was playing.

Damn. The second part of the song was the best part!
Where and when was that?
Finally got around to listening to Calamari Tuesday by Feed Me. I stopped about halfway through, just really not feeling it at all honestly.
That's a shame. I'll have to check it out sometime, I really love his older stuff.
Guys I have a small dilemma hahah. Should I go and see tiesto at Hakkasan or Cosmic Gate at Marquee on Nov. 1st for Halloween festivities?
I have seen both before and love them both. I wonder what direction the two will have in their choice of music that night hmmm
A wise man once said a hit in DJ land is how much alcohol is bought and now boys, girls & fans of all things EDM can bask in tidal waves of champagne showers from the deserts of Las Vegas to the world because Paris Hilton has some beats to soundtrack the greatest #nytofurlyf in her recently revealed Beatport chart, and boy did her press intern, I mean DJ-socialite-supreme herself bring the bangerz. Do your thing grrl you know we <3 you!
Her most recent single Good Times did quite the opposite unless you enjoy the feeling of dropping a cinderblock on your own head?
Its as if Paris was challenged to put together the most bland, EDM sounding chart possible with her effort managing to take out first, second and third place as well as Most Improved in the boring white bread category.

I did sensation at Barclays center last week, and aside from some nice visuals I was disappointed for the most part. I didn't feel like all the dj's really brought it, and considering how much it had cost to bring both me and my girl there, I felt a little ripped off.
This was my first EDM concert, so I don't really know how this event really ranks in terms of actual decency compared to others.
I'm not a fan of Sensation. I went last year to the Barclays Center show and I fell asleep during the show. I don't mean that in a cute way, I literally sat down on the bleachers and napped for a good hour out of boredom.
I'm not surprised. I only really enjoyed the third act, and had to leave before the fourth because the coat check situation was disgusting. Forced coat check, and it took me almost an hour to check my coat in. I left early because I didn't want to have to wait another 2+ hours to get it out.
Disappointing on so many levels.
