Watching Showtek atm, so much better if there was no hype man/MC whatever they're called. I don't understand why DJ's need them, let the music do the talking.

Well Showtek is two guys, so I think that's actually one of the DJs. He doesn't actually seem to be doing much of the DJing though :p But yeah, less talking more music.

I completely agree with this. It's okay to use the mic a bit, but really using it throughout the entire set, come on lol.

Zomboy on now, saw him open for Infected Mushroom in October

Anyone know if there's an acapella version of Ghosts n Stuff available somewhere? I want to use it for a mix but can't find one for the life of me. I know Deadmau5 played it with his levels mix at Ultra this weekend.

Thxs I think a friend of mine got it for me so it's all good. $80 for 3 days doesn't seem too bad, but I heard it was only $40 last year.... DERP.

I'm digging this Electro bootleg - Kaskade dropped this during his Ultra set. It's by this duo called "Cobra Effect", not sure who's in it though, they're really unknown right now but have been supported by a bunch of big time artists so they're obviously not randoms.

It's also a free download.

He still plays his usual stuff when he plays his shows and festivals, I think this is just something he's looking to do on the side as well. Remember he released a techno track under the alias "testpilot" with Hawtin's label - if he wanted the deadmau5 brand to be associated with techno he would have released it under that name.

I don't think this is what we should expect from his album, maybe a couple tracks but I doubt he's moving the deadmau5 brand towards techno.
