Elder Scrolls IV Screens & Video (Eventually)

Looks pretty great, but then again I still think Morrowind looks great (save for some of the character models/animation). Will this be coming out for the PC like Morrowind? I don't want to have to but a 360 just for this game, but I will if I have to - I enjoyed Morrowind just that much.

yeah it's for pc too, although it will need a pretty stout pc to do it justice (obviously)

i will go with the 360 version since my pc is 4+ years old and i hate playing games at my pc anyway.

Few thoughts. Negatives first.

Animation transitions were non-existant.

Facial animations were horrid.

Loading will take up 50% of the game. (I can't imagine what the retard pack would be like). I groaned when you had to load to go into a house.

Love the combat.

Love the physics.

Love the NPC schedules.

This demo is old? Would it be crazy to hope for 60fps with XBox360?

Hopefully they'll make a PS3 version cuz this is pretty much the only X360 game that could make go out and buy one.

Of course, but my question was: why do they allow me to come so close to them?
So they can eat your girlfriend and make a potion from her dog while you're on your side quest picking mushrooms and arrows out of walls.

Wow. Just wow. I've never even liked these types of games but this video has put the game straight on my 360 shopping list. This is how I imagined what Fable was going/trying to be like. The graphics are just stunning aswell, especially considering that the build that this video is taken from is 5 months old. I'll tell you another thing, any fears people had about DVD's being too small for the next gen have now been thrown right out of the window. 17 miles of terrain with 200 dungeon, looking THAT nice - after half of the disc is taken up with voicework.

this is from E3 which I saw on a big screen. It was so cool and I got a nice Bethesda T-shirt too. :D

Hey SteveMeister, if you guys need to hire some 3D artists, I'm up for the job :)

cool Steve, some new listings have been put up since I last checked, I probably could try to apply to all of them since I could do pretty much anything asked of me. I'm very open, so if you needed me to be flexible, I can be flexible, or I can be specialized. I know different companies ask for different things in their employees so thats why I try to keep open about all opportunities.

The Quest Designer one does look pretty tempting too as that's something I'd like to do. Man, I'm so glad my classes teach us design as well as art. Thing is now though, I'm almost graduated (next June, but the time is just gonna fly by I can tell) so I'm gonna get started with my portfolio soon. That's why I can't wait to get Oblivion for PC and check out the newest TES set and try something with it as it'll be great to use something different than Unreal for a change. :)
