"Good" might be stretching it, honestly. He's just been kind of having this negative impression on me in how he scrutinizes other people's posts.
Difference between Carrot and Nin is that I think people have been misreading Carrot; I just want Nin around because he's fun.

Role-playing is fine to certain extenct, but if all player does is that, it will end up being a major disservice to the town in the long run imho, since people would keep getting stuck on that roleplaying, and the mafia might get away. Just look at how games with Blarg in it seem to spin around Blargonaut until he is dead...

Reading some of this people's posts, I agree those are hard reads. BSP has posted next to nothing and played very reactionary, but I think the consensus is we're all willing to give her a 1-day newbie pass. On the other hand Hyper and Kitty have their vote both on Cabot, although Hyper's was a lot more justified and Kitty's felt like an "oh, that's what we're doing? alright then" kind of post - in fact most of Kitty's post are super short. *Splinter seems like he fits the least into your list, he seems to have some original thoughts and strikes me as worth keeping around.

I've been looking through the thread and I've been struggling to find at least some kind of flimsy excuse to vote for any particular person. I don't feel strongly about nin. Cabot just seems to be enthusiastic to play the game. Though that enthusiasm might be due to being aligned to the Electorate.

This honestly isn't even about you getting lynched, it's about people making decisions haphazardly and not justifying their actions.

Why do I feel like Kingkitty turned instantly kind of tense and aggressive when people gave him the lightest of suspicion? It's not like he was suddenly showered with votes or anything, either... Something is really off here.

You can usually read things between lines. Stuff like aggressiveness, anger can be seen from one's posts, it's not emotion meta really. Same if someone answers questions with stable manner.
