This is almost the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced -- we couldn't get it together the entire god **** game. And then when we almost have snatched victory, Plaxico just walks into the end zone and we are done. Eff the entire team and there ****ty playing....I am so friggen pissed. Thank you for wasting an entire season and choking on the one game that mattered. I am glad all of the spoiled millionaires on the team amassed such an amazing collection of statistics this season only to make it all worthless and pointless now. And most especially eff BB for wearing that red hoodie and not kicking the field goal on that 4th down --- WTF was up with that? I am so pissed off right now that I am thinking about buring my TB jersey on the BBQ. The one silver lining in this is that I have now realized that none of this is important: next year I don't give a crap about watching any of the games or anything related to it, I will spend time with my family and the people who won't let me down in my life.

:lol :lol :lol

I'm loving this.

Hey, domokunrox, I assume you're going to use your winnings to build a PC that can run Crysis without choking like Tom Brady there, I hope. :D

Ha! Thats a good one! No need tho, I'm setup with a PC that runs Crysis just fine. I gotta get me one of those 19-0 denied shirts tho! :lol

NFC East is the most dominant division in NFL history. If only the Eagles would perform up to conference standards.

Yeah, after dominating for 6 years they got a little tired of always looking down on every team.

you didn't see me talking shit to spurs fans about the mavs beating them in the playoffs because the mavs later lost in the finals.

what i'm saying is all this shit talk is pointless if you can't win the big game.

Did Jerry pull the trigger on that ridiculous Barber to Miami trade yet? Thank Buddha the Cowboys are going to spiral towards mediocrity yet again.

I hate the Giants being a Cowboys fan, but this game and its result makes me believe in Karma.

.. wtf, what does karma have to do with this?

Pats get punished for having one of the best years any team has had ever?

Unless you're one of those "LOL THEY CHEATED" morons.

Believe me I saaw that. Also the bullshit "injuries" at the end, they just wanted some time to relax the D.

You scored anyway, and the Pats have never done this. NEVER!...:lol

Edit2: I'm pretty sure Eli got picked off on the push off drive.
Yeah, you're right.. that was the INT drive. I guess it didn't matter at the end. Overall, the refereeing was really good compared to some of the recent Superbowls like that absolute debacle between Pittsburgh and Seattle.

Eli's going to spend the next four months shooting every commercial he can get his face in. It's the Manning way.

I like the head ref they used for this game, especially his accusatory tone in calling out penalties.

Incredibly Naive
Once again it's just kinda disappointingly based on the fact that it really won't be exciting next year. It's an unbelievably different experience when you have a chance at history. It won't really be entertaining/exciting next year... I mean seriously what's there to look forward to for football? Still I'll watch, but never a season like this. I was just hoping it would end with a win and just no more stress about it.

if there's any constant thing in sports, it's the ability to be surprised. There will be history again, when it strikes is just uncertain :D

Bradshaw ascends to heaven to sitteth at the right hand of God.

Okay, so I was wrong about the score.

Also, Bradshaw still walks among the living. He was so exciting tonight! He made a mistake, but he fought to take care of it.

I was talking about it to a friend on IRC. Basically run down of the 4th Quarter.

<me> crunch time for the Patriots
<me> it'd be funny if the Pats choke and lose the match

<me> well there it is
<me> Pats got it
<him> well, that wraps it up for the giants
<him> have to get a TD for the win
<him> watch the Giants do a massive run or long pass for a TD in the dying moments :p

<him> fucking aye
<me> haha shit they got it
<me> this shit just got real
<me> told you the long pass bitch
<me> long pass
<me> none of this short pass shit the Pats have been doing

<me> Brady getting the nerves
<me> SACKED LIKE A BITCH
<him> NEW YORK BABY

I loved Peyton watching from the shadows the entire game (well not really). He wasn't really standing with anyone and he was just stoic the entire time until the Giants made a nice play. INTENSE

Your luck has to run out sooner or later. The Pats won so, so many close games this year and a lot of them were won on the final drive. You can't keep on playing catch-up and expect to pull off miracle after miracle. Nothing pleases me more to see Brady lose. His smugness and the arrogance of the overall team makes this so enjoyable.

Oh, and Burress looks like a fucking prophet about right now.

Looks like the strike ended just in time for Eli to take Pey-Pey's spot on SNL.

This is the NFL equivelant of the 1990 Daytona 500, where Dale Earnhardt dominated the race
until he shredded a tire on the last turn of the last lap, handing the win over to Derrike Cope.
So awesome. And thank god NASCAR season is around the corner. :D

ESPN needs to send a letter of apology, kissed with lipstick by Sean Salisbury to Mr. Eli Manning.

UNSTOPPABLE. ELI MANNING IS.
Sean Salisbury would be glad to send a picture of his penis. An apology is a little out of his league though, unfortunately.

It really was a perfect season, wasn't it? 18-0, Brady breaking the TD record... and of course it had to be a perfectly round 50, not a 51 or a 52, but 50 glorious TDs. Then Moss breaking Rice's td record. I doubt I'll ever see another season so perfectly setup like this one in my lifetime. You know what everyone's going to be saying after this to undefeated teams in the regular season? "Just look what happened to the Patriots... all that matters is the Superbowl, not if you're 16-0". That's one of the reasons I doubt we'll ever see another team really make a concerted effort to go for 16-0 again. This was once in a lifetime event.

"Off Season"? Larry Johnson scored his Four Point Play in MSG over a DECADE ago and I'm STILL talking about it.

Wow. I have to say that was the best Super Bowl Ive ever seen and it will go down in history as one of the greatest games ever. Im glad I can say I saw it.

The final drive should have had 2 picture in picture windows the entire time of Peyton and Gisele.
