Any time an evil Brady threatens our world, a Manning will be there to stop him.

:D

I haven't read the thread at all, will do soon and then actually talk about the game, I am still in shock. I have defended Pats fans all year from the onslaught of haters, I hope they have good sportsmanship now that they are on the other side.

I'm out of town, so only a brief comment, but fucking amazing Superbowl. That Eli evasion of a sack and awesome throw and catch by Tyree will go down in NFL history like "The Catch" and "The Drive" Just sheerly amazing.

Congrats Giants, I'm ecstatic to see you win. Go Coughlin Go. Eat a bag of dicks, Tiki.

Epic play for sure. Had that play not worked out the pats would probably have gone 19-0. Good job on creating the trademark 19-0 Patriots, you jackasses.

to be fair Brady is great when given 10 seconds to throw the ball and Randy Moss to lob it too. Those screens to Welker are also amazing. Easily the best qb ever.

Any YouTubes of The Pass yet? I was listening on the radio, driving my car, when it happened, and I almost caused the worst accident in the history of I-95 when it happened. :lol

it's on NFL.com

Yes!

And even though they lost the 2007 Patriots are still one of the best teams EVER.

Haha j/k. BITTER TEARS.

I don't watch football, but this is something a friend of mine said to me in reaction to the game.

"In what fucked up alternate universe do we live in where Eli Manning can muscle his way out of a sack? Dude has six 300 pound guys holding onto him and he just shrugged it off and said 'Fuck you guys, I'm unleashing the dragon'. "

Thought it was pretty funny.

I was flabbergasted at how Wes Welker was able to convert so many times. The dudes a serious threat (if that hasn't been garnered from the previous post season games)

im going to have to go on record and eat a shitload of crow about Eli Manning. He nutted up and played huge today, i never thought i'd see him do that. The Pats need to reload that Oline they got destroyed. How the fuck does a line with 3 probowlers perform like that? I know the Giants defensive line is great but fucking shit! That was the biggest difference in the game, both D's played great but the Pats couldn't get anywhere near as much pressure on Eli. Its amazing that the Patriots had a lead so late and really a good chance to win (fucking HORRIBLE blown coverage on that Plaxico TD) considering the Giants played better overall on both sides of the ball. Anyway congrats to Wellington and the G-men fans.

on that note, even though i root for our lord and savior Thomas Brady, the great part of this loss is seeing all the cocky Boston sports fans taken down a notch or ten. This is only a precursor or things to come when the Celtics go down in the playoffs.

Sadly, I knew this when he was a dolphin, unfortunately we had no one to throw him the ball. He's an amazing return man as well.

I've been hosting a party ... so I just started reading a little bit ago. Started at around page 45 (right in the middle of the Pats last scoring drive) ... and read up until the end of the game.

:lol :lol :lol

SO MUCH CROW NEEDS TO BE SERVED AFTER MOSS'S TD

There must have been a string of 30-40 'game over' by posters!!

That's hilarious I got to remember that when I call my dad later and congratulate his team for winning it all.

watching the post game stuff now it's refreshing to hear guys speak HONESTLY, before everybody was terrified to criticize the patriots but now that's no longer a factor, wooo

someone with a lot of time on their hands should go through and serve up crow to the patriots bandwagoners.
I recall a lot of shit talking by patriots fans in the past few weeks.

It would be funny if at some points the GIFs took on some DBZ stylings. During the crunch Eli goes Super Sayin or just Powers up. That whole scenario was just impossible

Can't we all just get along and sing "BITTER TEARS".

This is a time of unity, peace and love for all mankind.

I must have missed those Steelers playoff games.

Oh, wait. They didn't make them this year? Oh. Ouch. Sorry.

I had the pleasure of watching this game with a bunch of friends who are life-long giants fans, and god damn, this was the best game of football I've ever seen.

Such a tense fourth quarter, and the entire game was filled with moments of pure awesome and surprise.

I came in for a great read, started back around page 50, and this thread delivered. So many funny posts and great gifs, but seeing it all play out on the TV was almost unreal.

At least two people are wearing their giants jersey's to work tomorrow :lol

This is up there already in terms of Greatest Football Games in 2008 with only the Michigan vs Florida game from the Capital One Bowl this year.

10 seconds? He was barely getting 2 seconds a lot of the time. No QB would play worth a shit playing behind a O-line as horrible as the Pats line played today. They got molested.

Brady looked like crap when he didn't have his normal 6 seconds of protection.

I didn't like some of Eli's throws when he was back peddling (a real miracle none of them was intercepted). I actually thought Eli was under quite a bit of pressure in this game as well. It wasn't just Brady, the only difference was that when the Giants smelled blood they got Brady for the sack.

Speaking of which, in the first half there was a play where Brady clearly got rid of the ball in the endzone while being hit and to me it looked like intentional grounding as there was no one near the ball. WTF wasn't that called?
