From the trailer it looks like we can play different versions of Joel. So can play his standard Part 2 version as well as some version from the flashbacks at least.
Personally I'm never that bothered about skins but the No Return mode looks deadly and I'll probably put a lot of hours into it.

Is Joel included in that mode?
Western Studio/ ND in Uncharted or TLOU skins: we no longer have a men collection, because we removed the male protagonists and females are now wearing their clothes.

You have to literally pay for like 70% of these. The costumes in this game as mid as they are come with an expansion for the same price as the costumes in RE2 add up to more than likely.Meanwhile at Capcom:

10$ upgrade. Or buy a 10$ ps4 copy then upgrade which is 20$ total.
2 new modes to play. Costume is just a bonus.

This game has tons of skins compared to Resident Evil 2 Remake.
Clair really only has
Her Noir costume is her best, followed by her Elza Walker costume.
People didn't like her classic costume because it was altered from her original design (no clothes, no turtle neck shirt)
Her army costume is not that great at all.

Ellie really got that trailer trash look down. Complete with plaid shirt that's had the sleeves cut off, tank tops, and logo'd tshirts. Just needs a checkered shirt and track pants, and she would cover all bases.

25 years into a zombie apocalypse, trust me, we'd all be looking like trailer trash.
Resident Evil never actually has a zombie apocalypse, it's what gives it its own identity by always preventing one (and another reason why the Paul WS Anderson films can go fuck themselves). So the characters generally being fashionable is more logical there.
