Elon Musk and Grimes announce the perfectly normal name of their normally normal baby.

you think you would take cocaine ii conventionally

but then you find out you need to be in an equipment-free VR state (yet to be created) to experience it

I admit a (dumb) weakness to the idea of names just being numbers and shit.
Mix that with covid making face covering and privacy tracking becoming more acceptable and we're inching closer to the cyberpunk future all of us wanted/never asked for.

Drowning people can't talk 😔

I'm gonna assume it's pronounced Ex-ay-ah-12.

Honestly, i think if it were just X-AE-A it could be kinda cool but still out there. the 12 just fucks it right up.

It's no worse than siobhan been pronounced shivon
that's the irish for you but i suppose scotland is a bit crazy too. there is Eilidh which is pronounced Ay-lee. with Siobhan you can kinda see how it might be Sha-von but Eilidh? I had to google it (and I'm scottish) otherwise I'd have pronounced it Eye-lie-dah or fuck knows how else.

If this kid becomes excellent in a field and earns a masters, will he go by the name Professor X?

Nah, it'll be Professor Musk. you don't use first names when you have a title. You don't hear of Professor Samuel or Professor Charles. It's Professor Oak and Professor X...

Professor X takes the X from his last name Xavier. His full name is Charles Francis Xavier. By your logic Professor X is called Professor Charles.

Since I don't know how to pronounce it I'll call her Xena instead.

Edit: Exia also works.

Still not worse than some of the names you see if you've ever been a manager and had temp agencies send you people.
