Enthusia's VGS

Konami just updated their website regarding their VGS (Visual Gravity System)

Sphere (Previously represented by arrows on sides)
Now the G-force is visualized by the movement of the sphere in the middle. The direction of G-force is easily conveyed to the player by having a part of the circle housing the sphere flash. It is now easier to see where G is taking effect compared to version 1.

Tires (Angle of tires and grip display improved)
Now the four tires are shown around the circle. The changing color of tires shows how much grip the tires have on the road and how close they are to maximum grip. You can, of course, still see the angle of tires, so that you can use this information to drive effectively.

Frame (Unchanged from version 1)
The driver's vision is expressed by the frame around the screen. The experience of the driver accelerating, decelerating, and even taking a corner is further enhanced by this feature. The feel of bumpy road is also expressed with the frame moving up and down.

Notice the dark shade on the outer part of the screen that represents Gs and bumps:

I am hyped about the tire grip information. I have been dreaming of such a display for a while.

I dunno, this game game is going up against some pretty stiff competetion in the realsim department what with Gran Turismo 4 and to a lesser extent Forza Mtorsport just around the corner.

Meh, that is about the level of wit and soficstication I would expect somebody named "Gek54" to display.

Actually GT4's physics still leave something to be desired. TOCA2 is almost better. I would say Forza has GT4's physics beat and if Enthusia gets their controls down tight I would bet it too will beat out GT4.

Prehaps that is why GT4 got sent back to the development board for a few more months?

Though, if we are talking about sales, there is no way in hell that Enthuisa is going to kill anything.
