Do we get something in our card for playing the whole game in Expert?

I got to level 10 with my Classic and Story teams, but now I'm not sure which one to continue, I'm doing Standard/automap on story while I'm going full hardcore(even drawing tiles haha) on Classic. I like Classic way more, but I'm still conflicted just because I could rush Story and then go Classic.

The game is amazing btw. Also, do your maps stay when you NG+?

If it's like EOU1 then you get to pick if you want your map to carry over or not. I believe the options are guild members, money, items and shop inventory, and map. You can pick all, some, or none of them to carry over.

Hmm, does anyone know if Spear Assist should activate link order when it has an element? I tried it a few times with the gunner's elemental shots, but link order only activated on the shot. Kind of disappointing if it doesn't.

Otherwise going tank-less has been rough. All level 8, Hi/So/DH G/H has been interesting. Guard Order is a saving grace, along with curb attack up for allowing me to disable everything I come across. So far the only real issue has been the off chance my DH misses a bind. Haven't tried FOEs yet, but considering my team's focus on not being overly defensive, I may have to wait it out some more.

Grimoire Trading in general? Once you develop the town a bit. You can invite the old guild in at about the same time.

Really bummed the free dlc is just one week. I preordered this like day 1, always support these things, but amazon being dumb means I might get it a day or so after the free dlc stops being free.

btw, the CD/art book is quite beautiful, and we got a full-color manual too. Hate that Atlus tax, but hell, it's worth it when it's all said and done. I'll pay the little bit extra to still get that full experience that's missing from most other gaming packages.

Yeah it's really nice! I think my favorite feature is them packing in so many character portraits for classic mode. They're just static images so why not include them all right?

I'm hoping to run through story mode as I like the cast so far. What's up with babysitting the children at the Inn? Should I be doing something specific there?

I'm having the same dilemma and it's KILLING me.

When I played EOU1 I just blasted through story mode first and it felt like a chore. I don't wanna go through that again but I hate knowing I'm missing out on unlockables because I am a crazy person.

You can't get a Grimoire Stone out of a skill that belong to a DLC boss if you don't have said DLC, can you?

It's just a poor choice of terms. Those DLCs haven't been released yet.

Such a fun game. I preferred the Highlander class in first game though. Definitely worth the $50. Does suck that most Atlus games are so pricey now. Even Stella Glow will be $50, although Legend of Legacy is $40. Wonder what makes them decide $50 or $40.

I failed to solve a puzzle in Ginnungagap, trapped myself in a corner and proceeded to kill 3 FOEs (2 simultaneous with the third joining after the first one died). This story mode party feels a lot better than Untold 1's.

The main guy is just super broken.

Clasic first always, then you can do an automated map run with the story mode, and then a third replay if you really really want. (I got to the end of the 3rd stratum in EOU 3rd playthrough before this game came out.

I wonder if they're playing on Expert, also Classic mode is still there and it's REALLY good. The classes feel balanced and fresh, even if I'm not a fan of only being able to use their Force stuff only once per expedition.

Oh don't worry about it, I just think I would have cried the first time I saw that happen. I get so emotionally about my EO chars.

The story MC hasn't seemed that insane to me on expert. Maybe I'm building him wrong or something (I maxed out delayed chase/resonant blade). Yeah He's good but he's like an EO4 Imperial where you blow your load of damage and then don't have much to do for a bit.

My princess with max Link Order 1 keeps up damage wise when linking against the MC's elemental attacks.

Story mode on Expert mode is still challenging in that stuff hits hard and battles demand your attention. Also as Mau said, Classic mode is still there with no Fafnir to cheese with
