Today I got my Micro and it definetely ROX ! The screen is legendary and beats everything to mud. The buttons rock, the d-pad rox, the shoulder buttons rock. Even the faceplates rock. I too thought it was redundant, I didn't even know why I bought it. But now I know : I somehow knew that the GB Micro is the shite ! I don't know why there is barely any European Micro hype. One thing I can definetely say : If you have a Micro, you simply can not dislike it. Unfortunately I could only play like half an hour, then the battery was too low. I have no converter. No, it isn't. I actually was surprised how you can recognize everything as good as on the GBA SP's screen. You can read every text properly, RPGs absolutely won't be no problem. Whoever first said you can't read little text on the Micro must have been a Sony spy or something.

Unless you have crap eyesight the screen is fine, reading text on Minish Cap hasn't proved a problem to me. I got a Famicom Micro a few weeks ago, I love the thing. I actually took it on a train into London the other day, something I've never done with a handheld before now due to the pocket space they take up, but the Micro's size really does make it completely portable as it's about the same size as my phone

I'm in NZ. Nintendo Australia have said they will get five colours for launch, with Silver everywhere, and the other colours available through different retailers. Who knows if they'll follow through, but:

There is an adapter to plug in the Linkcable to play multiplayer, right?
So does the Game Cube connectivity work with the Micro?

Could someone tell me?

The port for link cable features a new, smaller, connector.. so unless nintendo make a new cable for connecting the micro to the gamecube, it won't work.

there are new link cables and converters to convert the new cable to work with old gbas though.

yeh, when there are converters for link cables, someone could test; because the Cube cable has the same plug as an old GBA link cable...

I'm happy with my AB modded original GBA. I find the SP incredibly uncomfortable to use for extended play and I can only see the Micro being worse. Also it would be pretty stupid of me to buy another GBA when I could buy a DS. It does look awesome though, probably only second to the PSP.
