Match is all but decided so I want to namedrop one of my favorite french footballers of all time: David Ginola. He is probably the reason I have a soft spot for french teams up to this day.
2nd-choice defense has more holes than swiss cheese...
Besides, even good club players don't always make a great team. See Belgium.
(French sports journalists were still saying that the team was below average two hours ago... I think it's a bit harsh, but they can be awfully clumsy at times, both in attack and defense)
Who singlehandedly cost France qualification to the 1994 World Cup.
This is our best skill: getting complacent and not playing the easy matches up until the end. ^^Seems like France is completely falling apart.
Germany can have a field day with this French defence, even if they don't have a striker.

What rules are those? There are still a few teams playing with different colored shorts and shirts. Think it's mainly an aesthetic option these days.
Oh is that why that's gone?
That cross was dumb, but there was more to it.
I seem to favor those kinds of players. My favorite italian player is Roberto Baggio. I almost cried when he missed that penalty in that very same WC.Who was responsible for costing France qualification to the 1994 World Cup.
Fuck off Evra. You piece of trash.
Prob the most hated french player of the last 10 years. Why is this cunt still playing ?
IIRC, that was his last contribution in a French jersey.
Yeah, I just wanted to misuse the phrase in a similar manner as someone else did on the previous page.lol falling apart? They're just doing the minimum, keeping as much energy as possible for the Germany match.
He had a yellow: that was the clever thing to do, to make sure he wouldn't miss the semi. They should have kept Koscielny longer on the field.

I agree. 5-2 definitely doesn't look bad after the first half.Admirably enough for Iceland in the end I guess. They kept playing. Got 2 goals back despite being 4-0 down and of course getting this far. Could have ended far worse for them but they saved a little face in the end with their goals.
I see, shame. But for example Spain still rock the blue and red, hence why I'm confused.Peléo;209071942 said:It's derived from Fifa instructions: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/fifa-new-world-cup-kits-2816201

That's what happens when your team scores goals.
Time to wreck France(I love you France but your defence is bad and our team is tired and injured so maybe it will be an even match. Maybe you can lift the curse like we did with the Italians).
It's too bad the final isn't France vs Germany, it's the only interesting match left.
Yeah, and they showed them doing their chant, then cut to the French for a second where one of the players accidentally got elbowed in the face by a fellow player during celebration, then back to the Icelanders. That was kinda odd.I love that they're showing the Icelandic players celebrating with their fans, not the French who won, lol.
